Constipation For 5days And Low Grade Fever

Has anyone ever been constipated this long?! I have never been constipated before and I have heard you can not take laxitives when you are pregnant?! I have had a low grade fever for the past 4 days. I have tried to push the fiber and the fluids and have skipped my prenantals for the past two days( I know thats not good- but this is killing me! ) I guess the only thing that scares me is the fever. I called the on-call night doc. and she said they would order sopositors(spelling) for me in the morning. Should I be more proactive b/c of the fever>
