Fetal Heart Arrhythmia

I am 19 weeks and considered high risk for leaukemia and asthma. I am remission for the leukemia and my asthma is controlled by medicine. Today at my appointment, they detected a fetal heart arrhythmia. They said it was nothing to worry about and that the baby is fine. I am, of course besides myself with worry. They suggested decreasing or eliminating my asthma medicine as that is a possible culprit. Anybody else with a baby with an arrhythmia? Any and all info is GREATLY appreciated.

I don't have any experience with what you're describing, but if your Dr.'s aren't worried and feel a change in meds would help, I'd take that as an excellent sign. Also, 19 weeks is actually pretty far along in your pregnancy - if you're not having any placental issues or history of incompetent cervix or pre-term labor (for whatever reasons) I'd try and take it easy and take heart that everything's going along just fine. Good luck, let us know how things progress! Marivic, 24w5d
