Sorry if this has been asked already, I haven't been able to find a situation exactly like mine. I am 5 1/2 weeks pregant. At 4 weeks, my hcg was 82 (last tuesday 5/11) on a test given by my general pract_tioner. When I told my obgyn nurse, she sent me immediately for a hcg this past tuesday, 5/17, which came back 380. They sent me for another one today, with results of 480. The doctor had me in for a va___al ultrasound today, said he probably wouldn't see the sac, since you usually can't see it till the hcg is 1500, but it was so clear that I saw it before the doc even pointed it out. He said I have an 80% chance of miscarriage, but he's sending me for another hcg monday, and they will prob ultrasound again wednesday. He said it is NOT tubal. Has anyone else had a situation like mine? What was the outcome? I have pretty well reconciled myself to losing the baby, but I would like to hear stories from others.
