i am 32 weeks and 75% effaced and 1 cm dialated how can i stop the progress

Sharon, as far as I know there is no way to stop it but I hope what I have to say eases some of your fears if at least a little bit. When I was pregnant with my son my water broke 6 weeks early and I immediately started to dialate. I asked the doctor if there was something to do to stop the labor and he told me that there was nothing because my water had broke. I gave birth to a 6 week preemie and even tho he had to stay in the hospital for a little bit he is now 12 years old and doing great. I hope everything goes well for you.
