I am 34 weeks and 1 cm dialated I was wondering the same thing if I would go into labor or what, nobody replied to my question but your only 18 weeks and I am sorry I really don't know the answer but they say you can be dialated 1 cm for a long time, what did your dr say? Good-luck

my friend was and has been dialated that far since 20 weeks she is now 36 weeks and still only 1 cm dialated she has been fine baby has been great...Good luck i hope this helps

I don't think you have anything to worry about I was dialated 2 cm from 24 weeks until I gave birth to my son. I don't think it matters if you dialate a little as long as you don't go completely dialated or to the point where the baby won't stay in anymore.

from what ive heard and been through, dialation up to 3 cm is normal and can happen at anytime during your pregnancy.. as long as your water is not leaking you should be perfectly safe
