Hi emma, try not to worry, Have you contacted your doctor. WHen I was 8 weeks pregnant I had brownish spotting for 4 days. Doctor said that It could be due to implantation bleeding. Since brown blood is old its not so alarming as long as there is no cramping with it. Not to scare you but I had brown spotting at 14w3d which became red over 3 days and finally led to m/c. I m/c 1 week ago today and its still pretty unbeliveable, i still feel pregnant. Not to scare you though, lots of women have spotting during pregnancy and everything turns out okay. I wish you lots of luck, and get lots of rest now try not to over do it. Take care. Let us know how it turn s out!!

Emma - Brown spotting is often nothing to worry about but should always be checked out. You need to see your doctor and get a ultrasound done. I had bleeding from week 6 (brown and red) to week 14 and am now 20 weeks and feel the baby moving all the time. Hope everythings fine for you.

Emma, I'm about 7-8 weeks pregnant and I've had brownish discharge for over 1 1/2 weeks now. It doesn't seem to get any worse and doesn't turn red. My doctor said as long as it's not heavy bleeding and bright red all should be fine.

Emma, I had brownish bleeding and low fetal hr...I had an u/s yesterday and all is well. The dr reccomended an u/s to rule out a problem with the placenta...from everything I have heard and read brown is OK (as long as there is no pain) but still check with your dr. I am sure all will be fine! :)
