Well I took a hpt tonight and it was negative. I don't know if it is all in my head or what. Hopefully I will figure it all out soon. Good luck to the rest of you.

Nicole- I don't think the HCG should still be there from 3 weeks ago, from what I've read it diminishes pretty quickly...you should go see a doctor

Ok, so last night I started lightly bleeding pink mucus...this morning I took at PT and it was negative... No bleeding today so far...still confused. :(

I finally started last night, but I wonder if it was really my period, or if it was forced by the provera pills. Anyone else had to take these for a period?

I am really scared now. I just went to the doctor yesterday. I haver had a messed upi period since I got my IUD.My old doc that out it in said it was normal not to have aperiod so i was looking forward to that day. But the last few weeks i have been having alot of pain in my lower abdomen. So I went to the doc. They asked when i had my last period. I told them like 2 months ago or so. They were shocked and said that was not nonrmal. Did an ultrasound and a exam said i had no infection and that I might be pregnant. PT was negative. Gave me hormones to sart. Have had intercourse in 3 weeks. would PT be posotive by then? I am so confussed

I'm right with you Delilah.Exact same scenario. I am beyond terrified of being prenant. The told me I might be, but on ultrasound everything looked weird. They had a hard time finding theIUD on the ult. Meaning it could be a tubal. they put me on the pills too.

I thought the IUD was suppose to be almost 100%? I am having all the symptoms of pregnancy but the test is negative? Is this happening to others?

I'm freaking out. My fiancee has always been regular. Her period is due tomorrow and she is not having the pre-menstrual symptoms. She is going to the clinic to get a pregnancy test tomorrow. She had a Nova T IUD inserted in February. I thougt these things were almost full proof. She already has a 4 year old. If she's pregnant, don't know how we're gonna deal with it financially. I'll let you know of the results.

I too have an IUD in, have had it for almost 4 years now. Without any major complications fairly normal periods if a bit heavier than they used to be. Just this last two weeks i have been "feeling" pregnant just those certain signs that those of us who have had children before know first hand. I am not late with period yet should be getting it in about 4 days, but these feelings are so strong including not being able to have pressure on my stomach. Took a HPT today with neg results.. so i guess its a waiting game.. only this game makes me a bit nervous, my husband and I already have 4 children. I love children but am waiting on pins and needles. I feel for you all.. good luck on your own waiting games.

Okay girls, here is what i had done today at the docs. I was checked for cold and that symtoms.. none..urine test was neg... I knew that one i have had that happen to me before.. so i had blood draewn for thyroid and pregnancy and i will know those results inthe AM

My pt's have all been neg. This is BS!!! They need to change the stats to like 50%effective

I got an IUD 4 months ago. Since then I have lost about 20 lbs. I had never even heard anything about that affecting your IUD! I noticed that my period has stopped, but I was told that might happen. Lately I have been having symptoms that I chalked up to PMS (including craving pickles, which is something I never even had when I was pregnant with my twins). Now I am starting to wonder and I am going to go and get a test this afternoon. I got pregnant with my twins after missing 1 birth control pill, so I am realy paranoid.... (I have the Mirena IUD by the way)

Delilah, My doctor said that with the hormones, that if you start you are not pregnant.

Crystal- I am having all the symptoms with negative PTs too...are you late? I'm not late yet, but just feel pregnant, its really frustrating...no one is taking me seriously

Heidi...I got my blood results.It was negative so I am not pregnant. Thank GOD! My doctor said the pills should make me start and then all the cramping should stop. If not I need to have the IUD taken out
