Kim - I'm glad you asked Danielle the question... I'm terrified waiting for a MC not sure if it hurts or not or what to expect and how do you know when you're ovulating after a m/C did you take your temps or something... I do want to try again. Daniella, yes I've had an u/s this Tuesday I'd be 5w 7 days. I'm not sure when I ovulated but I know the first day of my last menstral period for sure. The fact that they couldn't even see a sac and my HCG levels are low I'm not putting too much faith in this one but want to try again soon. I haven't started bleeding yet but am afraid of what a M/C is like and want to know how I determine when I am fertile again.

Oh, my progesterone level was way over the charts at 110. The doctor said anything over 25 was good and mine was well above that.

Hello everyone... on Feb. 12th of this year i posted my first post. My hcg was 42... i was told that i was going to miscarry or that i had already... we cryed so many tears and it was the worst time.. but now i can gladly say that we are still pregnant and due in four short weeks. DJ- don't give up just yet!!! You may have ovulated real late! Happens sooo often!! (let us know what happens on Tuesday) Kim- I am sooo sorry! but, hey.. seriously.. you weren't that far along, so no need to wait a cycle to try again. If I were you, I'd start having fun (if you know what I mean) ;) from now and at least every other day, for about now until 11 days from now. Your levels were almost all the way down, so you should be ovulating real soon. Do you have an ovulation detector?

Hello, So my HCG levels are 3465 @ 5.5 weeks pregnant. Last week they were 157. So they're definitely doubling which is a good thing but they're still pretty low. The only preg symptom I have is tender b___bs and slight cramping (no bleeding, thank god!!). I'm not sure what to think anymore...it's such a guessing game!! I don't think I can go through a 3rd m/c. Guess time will tell. Wish me luck and good luck to you all!!!

Leanne- its really not about what the numbers are... its just about if they double or not. So, no worries!!

Daniella- Update. I did have a miscarriage. My husband and I were so upset. I went to the Dr. and they did another u/s and blood work . My Dr. wants me to come back on 9/29 to talk to her about taking progesterone. They also went ahead and put me on prenatel vitamans. I am optimistic that maybe I will get pregnant right away. We have been trying for over 6yrs and thought that I could never get pregnant. So we are just optimistic that I did get pregnant and we can try again for another one. The only thing is my Dr. wants me to wait until I see her for me to start trying again. I want to wait and give my body a couple of weeks to heal, but another part of me wants to start trying like NOW! I know I should wait though, b/c I think my progesterone has a lot to do with me having m/c. HOw are you doing?

Well, you kinda already knew that! but, its the final confirmation that kills... Well, I believe that you should just have s_x and do what you normally would do.. If it happens again, then its meant... if not, it will when its ready. I didn't even have a period after my miscarriage because I get pregnant the first time I ovulation afterwards. Best of luck!!!

I had a positve home pregnancy test. Very faint line. Went to lab and hcg was less than 2. Had some abdominal pain, but every early pregnancy sign in the book. Went to the e.r. Positve urine test, closed cervix and too early to detect anything on ultrasound Dr. congratualated me, then got hcg result it was .5.. Should be about 4 weeks pregnant now.. Has anyone had this.. I dont know whether to celebrate or cry, all these ups and down drive a girl crazy.. Please someone relate.

Last night I started bleeding - very lightly but it's bright red. I was so worried that it was going to be painful but there are no cramps (yet). I'd like to try again... did anyone use an OPK or just start trying and happen to get pregnant right after. Is the first day of bleeding considered the first day of your period again?

DJ- the bleeding isn't your period... its "unfortuntely" just your body expelling the pregnancy. You should be fertile again very soon. Best of luck!! SHERRI- what I don't understand is how you can have a positive pregnancy test with your HCG at only 2...(wait, you said less than 2) Most test do not pick up anything until 25 and the 5 day early ones pick up at 20. I guess, I would just go back and see if the 5 had doubled to 10 in the 48 hours its suppose to double it. Then 2 days after that, see if its up to 20. I don't know... my doctor said 5 and below isn't considered pregnant, but since yours was basically nothing and went up to 5, then maybe you just cought it EXTREMELY early. I still cant believe your HPT detected that. Really weird! Anyhow, your not bleeding, so maybe you just cought it right when it was implanting. Keep up posted on what the next results say. ONE more thing... I also dont' know how you can have an HCG of 2 at 4 weeks... 11 days past ovulation my HCG was 132. at day 13 past ovulation it was 370. At 5 1/2 weeks (last friday) it was over 40,000.

Thanks Daniella, I saw my doctor today... since she was monitoring me and there was no yolk sac she belives this isn't really a miscarriage it's just wasn't implanted correctly so nothing is forming. I'm hoping I'm fertile soon and will buy an OPK if I can find a good one.

New to fourm, last chem/preg in January 05, Now on clomid, 4 weeks preg with hcg only at 84, not really sure where to post, but..I could really use a kind ear to bend...

danielleb- sounds good to me.. your only 2 weeks past ovulation, right? 84 is good for 2 weeks... Most pregnancy test detect at 25 and on the day of you should have your period, which is 2 weeks from conception. The only answer I have, is to have them checked 48 hours after and it should be about 170. It should double every 2 days. So, that is the best way to compare. Only one test, doesn't say a whole lot. Thank you, wow, it's nice to have a kind word or two, especially so soon. I guess the last time I my first was 50 something then moved to 80 and then dropped down, so I suspect this will do the same.... I go tomorrow for next Beta Hcg....I hope you be here when I get back

DANIELLA... At this point I received my repaet hcg which was very good at 219 for 84.. my OB said she's like to get an ultra sound next week though??? If I am on my way.. why do the ultra sound so early.
