DANIELLA... At this point I received my repaet hcg which was very good at 219 for 84.. my OB said she's like to get an ultra sound next week though??? If I am on my way.. why do the ultra sound so early.

Daniella - September 23

daniellab- I think I'm just gonna call you dani, is that cool? Also, don't complain about getting an ultrasound early, because that is awesome!! Most dr's don't. So, that is good. ALSO... CONGRATS!!!!! I had a feeling in my heart that your numbers were going to be doubled... My HCG was 132 about 2 weeks after ovulation.. 46 hours after that it was 370.... and only 6 days after that (the day we had the ultrasound scheduled) my HCG was at almost 4467... But, an ultrasound can only detect the sac at the earliest at 2000 and above. So, that is why she is waiting next week for you. And she probably will just feel better to see that its in the uterus, etc. Its a good thing to have this done early on. Just to ease your mind! Good luck!!! I know everything will be fine for you!!! :)

Tracy, how are you? Have you had your baby yet?

I really know in truth i am hoping for a miricale but its all i have at this point, i found out 3 weeks ago that i was pregnant, at that time my hcg came back at 430, (i am canadian, not sure if its the same in the us) anyways it was low but the doctor said not to worry, that it was probably just early, now at 7 wks i have started to bleed, light bleeding but with bright red blood, i went for blood work yest and my level came back at 1030. up from before but way to low for where i should be, i was then sent today for an ultrasound, expecting to hear that i have m/c'd, but instead was told that the u/s was inconclusive that there was a fetal pole and sac visable and that all looked well and that they were unable to establish viability. they never accually told me whether or not there was a heart beat noted, but i am a__suming not, i now have to return in the am to have labs repeated, i am so scared and so confused, i am just not sure what to think, i know that most likely i am miscarring but it is just hard to believe, i am not having any cramping or pain, just the bleeding, but with my hcg not rising, i feel like there is not much hope, any comments from anyone would be greatly appreiated.

UPDATE - So I'm 7 weeks pregnant...so far, so good (knock on wood!!!). My HCG is 30,000 which is good considering they were 3765 last week. I still don't have alot of pregnancy symptoms (just tender b___bs) so ofcourse I'm thinking the worst!! I go for an ultrasound on Thursday. I'm scared and looking forward to it all at the same time. Wish me luck and same to you!!!

CC- No... No baby yet. It seems like it is taking forever! How are you and baby doing? I hope you are doing well. I have had just about enough of being pregnant !!! I can't wait to get this whole thing over with and bring baby home. Now if I could just figure out what to name her. Well let me know how how you are doing. Talk to you later !

Okay i have been reading all of these posts and got myself wondering if maybe someone could offer me advice or hope or whatnot. My LMP was august 1 and got +hpt and blood test from doc. I should be about 7 weeks along, but my hcg level was only 13. Doc said as long as i am still having symptoms and no spotting or bleeding then to go on like things are okay, but i go back on thursday to do more blood work. I had a miscarriage in april due to hcg not rising and i am just so afraid that is going to happen again. But i am still having all the symptoms and everything else. This is so confusing. I just dont know whether or not to get excited because i am afraid it will end. Any hope?

Daniella - September 26

Usually you don't miscarry because your HCG doesn't rise... its more likely your HCG doesn't rise because you are miscarrying... But, as far as your new pregnancy, you may have ovulated a lot later than you thought. So, its going to depend on your second set of quants (HCG) to see if they doubled. Good luck!

Jennifer - September 26

Thank you! I do have a little bit of hope that things will be okay! The last two weeks before i went to the doc i was taking pg test after pg test and they were all positive but they were so light i would have to hold them at different angles of the light to see the line. Then i went to the doc and had blood work done and all that on Thursday. Well on Sunday I decided to take a pg test just to see what it would say and the second line showed up right away! I was shocked at how dark the line was. It was about half the intensity of the control line! And for this test the hcg level is 20mlu for a FAINT line!! So that means that my numbers must have gone up! I am so relieved and I do have some hope, but Im still not gonna get too excited until i go back to the doc this thursday! Thanks for your input!!

Daniella - September 27

Jennifer_ I sure hope all works out... But, I do want to explain, that after you all ready have a positive HPT, you shouldn't base it on the lines, etc. anymore... I took a HPT and it came back a very faint line also, went to the dr. and my HCG was extremely high... another time, when my HCG was low, the line came back dark so fast.... Its all about how it was packaged. It only detects at 25 HCG... after that, the line colors don't matter. Just what the levels say at the dr. office. So, you shouldn't waste all the money and effort trying to judge using those... Plus, after I lost my last pregnancy, I had a positive HPT for 4 1/2 weeks.... It takes a long time to get out of your system.

CC - September 27

Tracy, I can't wait till I get to your point. (smile) You're having a GIRL!! You must be SO excited! I'm sure you will find the perfect name for her in good time. Well, all seems to be going well with me. I've had a lot of nausea- without "throwing up" fortunately. Still lots of fatigue. I go back to see my doc on Tuesday. I feel pretty good about things, but I will feel better when I hear that heartbeat- you know how that is. Well, I just wanted to check on you because I was thinking you were pretty close to your due date. When exactly are you due?

Daniella - September 28

CC- how far are you? You sound just like me... I am nauseated, but no throwing up. Sometimes I feel like I am going to, but I don't. Yesterday (7 weeks 3 days) I had an ultrasound and it measured exactly 7 weeks 3 days, one even came back 7 weeks 5 days (and we know our exact date of conception)..... So, that was good to see, and we also could see the head, eyes, feet, arms, and the heart in the middle beating strong. The heartbeat was at 166 already. Dr. said, that its looking beyond great. I've had 3 m/c's and no live births yet, in the past 4 years... So, this is a complete blessing. All the others, we had that "gut" feeling something wasn't right. This one, there isn't any of those feelings. ONLY some nerves, because its still so early. Although, after yesterdays ultrasound, we can breathe a bit better now. CC, please keep us posted on what your u/s says. :) Best of luck!!

CC - September 30

Daniella, I am about 12 weeks. We had our u/s at about 8 weeks and saw the baby and the heartbeat. It's been about 4 weeks so I'm looking forward to going to the doc on Tuesday and hearing the heartbeat on the doppler. Just for some rea__surance. Like you, I'm glad to be pregnant, but I can't wait until the nausea subsides. It'll be nice to have a good appet_te again and eat a nice BIG meal (smile). Right now the thought of it makes me a little queezy, Glad to hear everything is going well with your baby. We feel good about this pregnancy, too. Keep us posted! :-)

Daniella - September 30

CC- yup, know what you mean. I can't eat any good portions... Only some small meals that can't be too heavy and not before bed... But, I could tell that its going to get better soon. What was your baby's heartbeat at 8 weeks? At 7 weeks 3 days we heard ours on doppler at 166 bpm... It was SOOO loud. Hurt my ears, lol.. but, I'm not complaining.. And just like you, I have to wait another 4 weeks for my next u/s. Can't wait to see what a difference those weeks make.. Best of luck on yours!!

Hi everyone, i have been trying to read all of the above - you may be able to offer some info. I found out last monday i am 5 weeks pregnant. I did my first blood test came back only at 48 than two days later the number had only changed by 1 or 2. Has anyone had that low in the first 6 weeks and not miscarried? I have to go for another test on MOnday, today sat is public holiday so they couldnt' do it. I have had no blood, a little cramping but nothing that feels abnormal to period pain. any one who has been this low would help to get some info

CC - October 1

You will not believe this. After using the bathroom last night, I wiped and there it was-blood. Not bright red but nonetheless blood. I'm 12 weeks and freaked out!! I called the doc she told me to stay off my feet and get some rest. I'm supposed to see her on Tuesday. I'm very nervous. And on top of that the lower back pains are starting. I pray that these are not signs of another miscarriage.
