Thanks girls, Well, since then I have been trying to forgive and forget although I know I will never completely forget the pain. I'm doing my best because I know it was a stupid mistake and I guess I will never know how far it would have went since I busted him. I can only hope and pray that he changes. He is a great guy, except I think he was looking for some attention that I didnt realize I wasnt giving him, even though that is not a good excuse I love him and want to atleast make it through the pregnancy because I'm very emotional and I'd rather not risk the baby with stress. My eyes are wide open though. Good luck to you ladies, I'll keep in touch.

Got great new today! Saw the baby and a heartbeat of 163! My first beta was low and then my first u/s they couldn't find the baby (5.2 weeks.) Now I can call the rude nurse and schedule an appt. The nurse informed me that we won't schedule another appt. until after the u/s in case it's not a viable pregnancy. How lovely to hear! Well, I can breathe a little easier now. Jeanette, I'm glad you've come to terms on handling your situation. We are all different, but it's more important that you do right for you. I hope everything turns out wonderful for you!

Patti- congrats!! I knew your numbers sounded just fine.. that is so wonderful. I think when you said your HCG was 85 (I think thats what you said) 15 days after ovulation.. you probably were 14 days after ovulation. It takes 2 days for the egg to go thru the tube.. then up to a week for implantation. Having a number of 85 about 2 weeks after ovulation is a great number. Plus, yours were doubling just fine. At 5 weeks 6 days on my current pregnancy we could see a heart flicker. At 7.5 weeks the heartbeat was 166bpm. On my 11 week scan it was 167 bpm. Yours is around that same ballpark. I am 25 weeks today with one healthy boy!! I bet you feel so much better now!! Congrats!! :)__Britney- I am sure yours will be just fine also. It was too soon for a scan much less a transabdominal one. So, I also have a great feeling for your next scan. :)

Patti, Thanks, I'm doing my best to suck it up and make him pay for what he did. I'm just glad that he was caught and he didnt play me for a fool for long. I've set my limit, and this is the last time I'm going to try to work things out, there are too many guys out there for me to stress, worry, and hurt over one.

Hi ladies, I've got a question. I've been feeling pain in my right side, round about where i think my fallopian tube is. Its the side the doctor said he thinks i ovulated from. Its not so bad, but really uncomfortable, and now i'm really worried about being ectopic. My appointment is not for another day and a half. It also dies down every once in a while. Should i be freaking out? how bad does it need to be to go to the ER? I'm not bleeding at all....

Britney- I lost my right fallopian tube from an ectopic as my first pregnancy. So, the 3 other pregnancies after that I went to the ER right away to make sure it wasn't another. Each time, I had a lot of pain in the side also. When you are pregnant, your ovary produces luteal phase to make the hormone production for the pregnancy. It is actually rather normal to have some pain from the ovary you ovulated from due to this. I bled with pain with my ectopic. But, the pain was so bad that I couldn't move and it literally felt like a knife was stabbed into me. WIth this pregnancy where I am now 25 weeks, I was freaking out in the beginning because I was having pain again. But, I went to the ER (you have to if you had a prior ectopic) and my HCG was showing fine for a normal pregnancy and they did an ultrasound and the sac was in the uterus. The pain lasted for weeks... Just the overworking of the ovaries. Its not pain from your tube your feeling. In fact, your tubes are constantly moving in there, that it wouldn't be in one spot. Sounds like ovarian pain. Also, its really rare for an ectopic. Oh and if it was an ectopic, the pain woudln't die out.. the pain would be real bad constant. I would wait out to your appt. (its not that long away).. unless you are so doubled over that it seems more then overproduction of hormones from the ovary. Oh... one last thing.. if it was an ectopic your HCG wouldn't be doubling like it should. In fact, it would be rather low and not doing much of anything. I had a negative pregnancy test (urine) the whole time of my ectopic and I was 7 weeks in the tube when it ruptured. Try not to stress!! I'm sure everything will be perfect. :)

Britney, I've had that same pain with all my pregnancies (this is #4.) My Dr. said it was round ligament pains caused by the growing uterus. It's very sharp and can be painful and it is right where my ovaries are (usually just on one side.) You are probably just having those type pains, but you know, if you are really uncomfortable you could go to your Dr. or to the ER to make sure. At least you'd have peace of mind. Also, look up signs of ectopic pregnancies on the net and see if you are having any of the other symptoms. I hope you feel better!

Thanks for your a__surance Daniella and Patti. The pain has died down, Thank G-d. The feeling is now sort of like when you never felt your kidney's, and all of a sudden you can feel them and are aware that they are there. But i looked up symptoms of ectopic and Thank G-d, doesn't seem like i fit the category. so I'll wait it out till my appointment. its at 7:30. I have finals coming up in 2 weeks, and i've never been a worse student as when i found out i was pregnant! I really have to pull myself together!!!

Hi everyone. well, i went for my scan and we couldn't see anything :-( I have to go for another hcg test tomorrow. I don't know what to do anymore. I don't have emotional energy to think about this. It really takes up all my thoughts and is totally messing up my studying and work. I just wanna know whats happening- if this pregnancy is going to work or not, and if its not, i wanna start to be over with all the hope and excitement. We haven't even told our parents yet, and the doc put me at 7 weeks!!!( although he said given my weird periods it could be inaccurate.) I think I'm just gonna forget that i'm pregnant until i get the results. I'm really losing what its taking to just wait and wait and see and see. sorry about this outburst....

Hello Ladies,
I have been reading some of your messages since i am going through a similar experience. I don't know if i should hope for my pregnancy to be healthy. My Hcg was 269 then 2 days later 359 and yesterday 522. The doctor says i'm at 5 weeks. I am just so emotional and i dont want it doomed but i also dont want to give up hope. Has anyone heard of levels not doubling in the beggining but then turning into a healthy pregnancy. Thank you.

Your HCG needs to "at least" double every 48 hours in the beginning to be a good pregnancy. In fact, it should triple every 48 hours in the very beginning, but then double when you hit about 7 weeks, then it should only double every 72 hours once your HCG hits about 10,000.... Britney- I wouldn't go by your LMP for how far you are.. especially if your periods weren't normal (mine never were).. but, what is your HCG at now?? You can't see anything in an ultrasound (even a transv____al one) until your HCG hits 2000. So, if they haven't checked your levels lately, you might want to ask.. just to see if they're still doubling, and to see how high it is. Also, that cant also help rule out ectopic. Honestly, I think you just caught it very early. Does he have you have a repeat in a week?

Well, my hcg a week ago was 1608 and my progesterone was 106, so it should for sure be over 2000 by now.... I'm taking another hcg today so we'll see if its still rising. I have a very optimistic doc, so that helps. I just read a post that said she onle saw the baby after 9 weeks, so i have a little hope left...

Britney- your numbers sound good.. just see how well they increased.. do the math and see if they doubled every 48 hours. Also, I dunno about the 9 weeks thing. That is far too long. Must have been real old equipment or she ovulated much later than thought. I knew my exact date of conception on this pregnancy and at 5 weeks 6 days, (3 weeks 6 days from conception) we could see the gestational sac, yolk sac next to the fetal pole and a heart flicker. At 7 weeks 5 days, we could see the head, arms, legs, yolk sac next to the head and even the tail with a heartbeat of 166bpm. That was a transv____al ultrasound at about 5.5 weeks after conception. But at 3-4 weeks after conception (5-6 weeks gestation) you should be able to see at least a gestatonial sac. Maybe not a heartbeat, but you should see a small circle in the uterus. Good luck on your quants!! and next scan Britney. I really might just be too early and/or maybe the equipment your doctor used wasnt the greatest.

Got my hcg back and its 7550. Its supposed to be at least 10000. I have no cramping or bleeding at all, but no pregnancy symptons either. my progesterone also went down to 61, from 106, but that was a crazy number anyway. so i'm just waiting for tomorrow to call doc and find out what to do...

I just read on www.advancedfertility.com that 85% of healthy pregnancies have hcg double every 72 hours so i'm holding onto that hope....
