OK I HAVE A QUESTION I MAY HAVE OVULATIED AROUND THE 18-20TH OF JANUARY..GOT SOME FAINT POS LINES ON HPT..WENT TO DOC TODAY TO GET FIRST HCG IT WAS ONLY 8 I AM SOO SAD RIGHT NOW GO AGAIN ON MONDAY I AM SOO SCARED 8 SEEMS SOO LOW TO EVEN HAVE A VIABLE BABY PLEASE HELP...I HAVE HAD SOME CRAMPING NO BLEEDING OR PERIOD JUST MUCOUS HAS THIS HAPPEND TO ANYONE ELSE???

Hey Hoping for baby (think we all are)... when did you have the faint + ?? Was it one of those 4 or 5 day early test?? Also, when you get your results back in on Monday, you'll have a clear idea. You ovulate again once your HCG htis 0.. most woman miscarry around the time their periods are due and never even know they were ever pregnant. How many days ago was the first day of your last period, or what date was that AND are your periods regular?? Anyhow.. can't really go off one HCG level.. have to have 2 to compare. You just never know!!!! Good luck!!

Hey ladies, well I have some news. I tried to ignore the uncomfortable cramps but coulnt no longer because it was starting to make my leg cramp. I went the emergency room (it took 8 hours) and found out that I had a urinary tract infection and my beta test was at 95. I had a miscarriage. It hurt me at first but I had already prepared myself for it and figured it since all the bleeding I have been having. The good news is it seems the hCG is leaving my system pretty fast and I will be able to try again soon, if I decide to. First I have some thinking to do about my relationship first and have some decisions to make. Good Luck to all you girls and I pray for your bundles of joy. I am so sorry to hear that Jeanette, but it's good news that you body is taking care of everything by itself. You will be able to start again very soon when you decide too. My doc told me that every women has 1 miscarriage out of 5 pregnancy, hopefully this if is your one and only one. Good Luck and keep us posted.

Jeanette, I'm really sorry to hear about your m/c. I just wanted to let you know that I was able to conceive after one cycle after my m/c in November. Thank you for your well wishes and prayers for the rest of us. I wish you all the best.

Hi ladies. I just got this egg white sort of stuff coming out of me. sort of what they describe as the egg whites of the luteal phase. does that mean anything?

Jeanette- I'm so so sorry. This must be so difficult for you...but on the flip side, i suppose it's good now that you can see where your relationship is heading, cos that would've been very hard to do while you were expecting his child. My news isn't so hot either. I just came back from the doc, and we still just see 3 tiny dots, but no developement since last week at all. He said that he has never had a situation like this before, where there were absolutely no signs of m/c and high hcg levels, but no developement. so once again, i took another hcg and we are basically still waiting. i've pretty much lost hope already. if the hcg isn'tup, i think i'm just gonna opt for a d&c cos it seems like in my case i'll take a while till i start bleeding. I'm seriously fed up with the waiting. i just want it over with, so that i can start trying again. Daniella, where have you vanished to?

Hi ladies, well the update is that my hcg is 13552 - much too low to be viable, so its pretty much over for me. I talk to doc on wednesday and am gonna request a d&c. I know its probably better to miscarry naturally, but its tooo emotionally draining to have it inside for a month when nothings gonna happen, and i'm showing no signs of bleeding or cramping at all. I've never cried so much in my life! my husband was amazing- so that really eased things. i've only been married 5 months and this was really our second try, so i'm hopeful. Anyone here had a d&c before? how long does it take until the bleeding stops? This forums been a little dead lately. Hope someone reply's.

Britney- hey, I wouldn't go for a D&C until you have another ultrasound. You never know... I've heard of the same sit. and one actually making it. Your levels may be dropping because of the 2 that aren't making it. But, you just never know. Yea, each week makes such a difference, but you only waited one week and your still pretty early. Miracles do happen! and you never want to hold that "what if's" around with you. As far as my last miscarriage with a D&C, I was 12 weeks and the baby stopped growing at 7 weeks.... but, its heart was still a flicker for 3 weeks on the scan so we couldn't do a D&C.... but, we seen it finally stop beating so we knew it pa__sed and a D&C was fine to do. They say it could take 4 weeks for your body to realize and start to expel it. I never had any bleeding, cramping, or anything.. but, the heart had only stopped 2 days before my D&C... OK... so about the surgery, if you opt to do ti.... The whole thing took about 10-15 minutes.. Just like a blink of an eye, since your put under. I woke up with a pad but hardly any blood. Kinda sore the first time going to the bathroom after it. But, it was rather a breeze (physically)... I bled very very lightly for about 5 days. Anyhow, my HCG the day of the D&C was at 10,000 and it took 4.5 weeks to get down to 5. and then at exactly 5 weeks (only days after it was down to 5) I ovulated and got pregnant again. WHere I am now 27 weeks today. So, if you do get the D&C done, have them check your HCG all the way down to 0. YOu ovulate once you hit 0. GOod luck!! Keep posted and you just never know.

Hi Daniella - thanks for writing. My husband also really doesn't want me to get a d&c. he's still hopeful that b/c its multiple, one could still make it. I'll see what my doc has to say. do you know if its true that with a tipped uterus you sometimes don't see the baby till later? i'm also gonna try go for a second oppion, which might be hard because my insurance has this policy that you can only switch doctors once every three months. My doc is okay but seems to be a pretty much average doctor. He;s never seen a case like mine, which i think is a bit strange. i'll keep u posted...

hi all i am Laura. I am new to this board i have 1 daughter. Anyways i have a question i went to the Er the other night with some slight pains but not really that bad, they took me in did an u/s but could not see anything yet, i should be 5w 1d as of today my lmp was jan 2nd. but i think i ovulated a day or two late. Anyways, they saw my cervix was VERY thick and i had 2 cysts which she said is normal because of the pregnancy hormones. Anyways my question is, i have had no bleeding or spotting.. i am still having pregnancy symptoms yet, my hcg level is low at 270 something.. i wanted to ask advice on what i should do or if this is common., and i am worrying over nothing? i am going back tomorrow am to make sure my levels are doubling anyone that could help i'd appreciate it i am a nervous wreck. They also didn't see the baby on u/s yet, i dont know about the sac but they said with my levels that low they didnt expect to see anything. Thanks if you could help Laura

Laura- honestly its hard to know anything until that second set of HCG comes back.. First, you really can't see anything in the uterus until your HCG is 2000.. So, yes.. yours is too early to see anthing yet. To know if they are going to hit that, you just have to wait until the second set of numbers comes back. They should double every 36-48 hours. Mine was 134 exactly 13 days past conception.. then 46 hours later it was at 370..... then 6 days after that it was at 4467 and we seen it on ultrasound. That was at 5 weeks gestation. 3 weeks conception. So, all you can do right now is wait. Good luck!! ___Britney___ yea, you probalby want to keep the same doctor right now.. just say that you'd rather wait another week for a scan. Each week makes suck a difference. Yet, if you start bleeding, then you may want to think about a D&C so that they can do a path test on what they took out of you to see what was the problem. Kinda hard to do once you pa__s in the toilet. But, go to the ER once you see blood (if you do)... and have them do an ultrasound (they probably would anyhow).. and if still nothing showing up, then you may want a D&C right away. Keep posted. Well to calm my nerves a little bit, i took another pregnancy test the new walmart equate one with either +/- result. and it came back VERY POSITIVE LOL! it came back positive within 10 seconds literally. And the positive was darker than 3 days ago so that has to be a good sign that my hcg level is going up right?> but i do still go tomorrow that is the real test.

Laura- most test detect an HCG at 25..... yours was just 270, so it should come back dark red. :) Can't go off of that. Also, I had a dark line when my HCG was at 134, but on my last pregnancy it was real light and my HCG came back at 4000. So... they say that a positive is a positive, regardless of the lightness or darkness of the line. Anyhow, even if say your HCG was going down... it was JUST 270.. that would take more than a few days to get down to 25 that store test detect at. Ok, ok.... so I guess what I am trying to say is just wait to see what your next test comes back at. You do know you have HCG in your system. Its just a matter of how much. I had a positive pregnancy test 4 weeks after my miscarriage. It can take a while to leave... BUT, lets hope that yours next one doubled just fine. Try not to stress~!!! Hey all. Your stories have been incredibly touching and educating. I have a 3 yr old little girl and my husband and I just found out that we are pregnant. I am about 4-5 wks. I never really paid attention to all the details before, with my daughter I mean. I had one miscarriage before her and it was incredibly traumatic. I still think about it more often than I thought I would all these years later. Everything seems to be going well so far but my first blood test came back with prog at 23.3 which they said was good but my HcG was 86.4 which they said was low. I am trying to figure out what the levels are supposed to be at 4-5 wks. I ovulate early and I know I conceived on January 15th so Sunday will be 5 wks since conception. I just tool my second set of tests and i am waiting to hear back. they said that they would like to see the levels in the high 1000 to 2000 range. does anyone have any insight. should I be concerned. I am just so nervous because I remember how aweful it was and I am terrified to go through it again.

Here's my situation, can anyone relate with a similiar case. The DPO are obviouisly off but here's my HCG levels, at 17 DPO HCG was 294, at 21 DPO 924, at 28 DPO 2683 and 35 DPO 4560. My numbers started out good but then did not continue to double within the 'normal' timeframe. At my first u/s (sac measured 6 weeks) we could not see a baby. Five days later I had another u/s and expected to be scheduling a D&C but we saw a baby and heartbeat, baby measured six weeks. We are very causiously optimistic and will go back in two weeks for another u/s. My doctor has been VERy supportive and would not consider a D&C after the first u/s because he said you just never know, and he was right. We're not out of the woods yet obviously but I was curious if anyone else had really slow rising betas and went on to have a normal pregnancy and most of all a healthy baby.
