Teigan, congrats on your progress! That is excellent news for you. As for the other ladies, I'm sorry for your loss. I am going through the same thing, I am losing mine as well, it is just taking forever. My HCG dropped 2 times and then started going up 3 different times. Today it dropped again and Dr. says that I should be losing it soon now. Meanwhile I have been bleeding now for 3 weeks. I am just happy to say that we do not have to have the pill or a D&C! I guess if I can find a positive that would be it. At least we don't have to wait 3 months to try again! Good luck to all of you I hope all goes well!

I am so sorry for both of your losses. I can only imagine how hard it is, but God will see you through it. I will be praying for you.

Hello ladies I am so glad I found this site. I miscarried 2 years ago. I then had a health boy which will be 1 year old tomorrow 08-11-05. We have been trying to conceive for a few months now. I ovulated on 07/29 and I took a hpt on 08/09 and there was a very faint line. I then decided to take the digital test and it said pregnant. I went to my fertility doctor today to check my hcg and it was low only 18. They said it should be about 50 or higher. My progesterone was 27 which she said was good. I am very upset that I will miscarry. I go back on friday to check my hcg again. I hope it doubles. I really want to be pregnant again. I am so scared I am wondering if I am going to miscarry when is it going to start? I read that the clear blue easy digital test starts detecting the hcg at 25 so how is that possible for me to have a positive with a 18 hcg level? Any advice welcomed.

Ashley and Josie - so sorry to hear of your losses. I wish you every luck for the future! Dawn, as some of the others have said, dont give up hope. There are some cases when the hcg levels start low, such as the starter of this forum. However I have been told that the most important factor is that the hcg levels are going up rapidly - ie doubling every 48-72 hours. That hasnt been the case for me and the hospital nurse has told me not to expect a viable pregnancy - but this is coupled with the fact that I have been bleeding (and getting worse). You are early so I would wait until you get the second HCG tests - good luck for Fri. I also get my 4th set of results then and will be thinking of you! Good luck!!! Hope to hear good news for you on Fri x by the way I think that the clearblue tests can show a positive if you are over 5! the digital ones are very sensitive and show up more clearly and earlier than the non-digital ones in my experience.

hiya dawn i would go and get your progestorone levels checked, and make sure they keep on top of your hcg, with you been with a fertility doctor, ou should be having all the help you need aniways, but_t doesnt hurt to be a bit pushy, my doctors hate me as i am always on the phone asking questions, and demanding things, it sounds awful but when youve lost 4 babies, i think i have every right to be a little pushy, but regardless of how many you have lost you need to have your progestorone looked at. hope this helps, and your datea do make you very early so i wouldnt worry, fingers crossed xxxx

Thank N and Teigan for the positive words. The nurse said my progestirone was good it was 27. I am trying to think positive but at the same time preparing myself for the worse. Today is my little ones birthday he is 1 year old. I am going to try and keep myself occupied with him right now. N I hope things go well for you. My appointment is scheduled for tomorrow at 8:45am tomorrow and then the waiting game until 2pm for results. I will keep you all in my prayers and hope everything goes well for all of us.

well, i can never have a good week without something happening, everythings fine until my iccle boy has just sprouted chicken pocs b4 my eyes, ive never hd them, and now i have to have tests just incase as they can make the baby blind apparently.. this is all i need.. one thing im grateful of though my little one doesnt need to go to nursery for a week or two, so i get to spend more time with him, god im tired, dont find out about my little one in the tummy now until 22nd of this month, do they make a habbit of keeping you in suspence?? im so nervous, i feel as though everything is going to be ok, and dont ponder on it as much, but its still in the back of my tiny tiny brain ... somewhere, im not going to dwell on it happening, as if it happens it happens. but let hope it doesnt now i have help, xxxx lots of love and take care girls xxx

Hello I went for my other blood test today. They called me with the results and the HCG level didn't double. It only went from 18 to 20 They said I need to go back on Sunday for another blood test. I am getting tired of going for blood work and being disappointed. I have not seen a doctor only the nurse and I want to see the doctor. If I don't speak to a doctor on Sunday then I am not going back there. I called my GYN and scheduled an appointment with her maybe she can give me some answers

dawn you have everyright to demand a doctor, i always get poushy, otherwise they drag there feet, you may need help with your progestorone or anything,,, get them told... xxxxxxxx

Hello ladies I wanted to update everyone. I spoke to the nurse today and told her what my hcg results were for the past 3 test and they were 1st HCG 18 2nd HCG 19.9 (They had told me 20 on the phone which I find weird) 3rd HCG 22 (This was today) They want me to go back again for another blood test. I was thinking maybe going to a lad instead of their office to get the blood drawn. I don't know anymore. They said it could be a chemical but the numbers are still rising but very slow. They also said there is a chance it could be a true pregnancy but very early. I think I need to stop thinking about it and maybe what happens will happen.
