I had a missed abortion before the birth of my beautiful baby girl. I am pregnant again but the sickness stopped at 8 weeks. I am tired through the day but other than that i have no symptoms. I am now either 10 or 12 weeks and due to have a dating scan next Friday. I am so desperatley worried that the outcome will be the same and the "baby" will have died already. Has anyone had experience of frequent missed abortions as there is not much written on this subject. I would like to know how likely it is that i could go through this again. Could it be that this is how my body reacts to miscarriage and that it doesn't cope with freeing the embryo in the "Normal" way? That you in advance.

I don't really have an answer for you. Just wanted to say that I had a missed AB this past year as well & now am pregnant again. I am only about 7wks, but my symptoms this time are MUCH more mild. Another missed AB is a concern for me too. We can only take it one day at a time. Keep breathing! You'll know on Friday. :)

I thought this article might help you. It says Prognosis for future pregnancy is excellent. Most women do not have problems conceiving and carrying a future pregnancy. I am very much in the same boat as you. I feel for you. I am 10 1/2 weeks pregnant and have noticed that my b___sts feel less full and sore (even smaller) and all my symptoms of pregnancy like nausea and tiredness have also gone.
I lost my first baby through a missed abortion only a few months ago and am now terrified that the same thing has occurred.
i am due for a CVS next week but feel very worried.
I think there is nothing worse. I wish you good luck and really hope everything is ok.
