Went for an ultrasound today thinking I was about 7 weeks but tech. could not find a heartbeat or yolk sac. Pregnancy was confirmed 4 weeks ago. Has this ever happened to anyone else and if so, what was the outcome.

i dont know how to help you about the yolk sac but i had to go to the hospital a few weeks ago and it took an hour to find the heartbeat,and i was 16 weeks
it depends on your size, where the baby is positioned and alot of other things. the thing that scared me the most was when i first went to the gyno to hear the heartbeat they found it right away at 14 weeks.

Dr. called to confirm that the baby had died a couple of days ago and that I will start to miscarry in a week or so. Although it is very hard for me right now, I know that God is in control and everything will work out. Thank you, Diamond, for your input.
