What does a posterior uterus have to do with pregnancy?

I am 27 weeks pregnant and my doctor told me that even though i was having these symptoms it was in my head and i wanted to be pregnant. then she told me i had a posterior uterus but it nothing to do with being pregnant. i have taken 5 pregnancy tests and they have all come up negative.i feel movements and a heartbeat.what should i do. i asked for a ultrasound and the doctor said no.
