MsMonet _ Holy Cow!! 15 follicles? you're a regular basketball team producer - lol!!! Wow, your chances are through the roof! When is implantation? Jeanette_ I am 23w2d. Congrats to you!! I did get pregnant once after the myo, about 4 months after but the baby never had a HB. That was probably chromosome related and just bad luck. This pregnancy was about 9 months post myo, and I actually had had the HCG test that month (Dec) and my DH and I went for it and got lucky! I had a doc appt on Friday and there is another fibroid in there they say is degenerating, I guess not a big one. Once you get that myo, you have to act FAST because there are tiny ones that grow and grow fast once you get pregnant. It's like a race. I also have some scar tissue from the myo that has made the placenta grow oddly in those areas. But the doc says it looks great, and the placenta is doing a good job and the baby is tracking about a week ahead of dates right now. I can't believe she weighs 1 1/2 pounds. To me that is HUGE (it's my first)! ha ha, can't wait for her to be 10 pounds and waking me at night! Hope everyone is well. Good luck MsMonet!!!

I'm just curious because I keed pn re-reading your post to see if that is what you meant..if it is congrats and keep us posted to let us know how you are doing.. MsMonet..I know you must be excited..let us know how everything goes on friday..I'm wishing you the best with everything I've got..hopefully I will be pregnant by November..I keep on wanting to move the time for ttc up..hearing everyone's story makes my wanting to wait lessen..I have to talk to my doc about it because he orginally said to wait 1 year..then he said at least 6 months..so I decided to wait a little bit more than six months...ahh the delimea..I just don't want to do it sooner because I just dread something going wrong and then me blaming myself for not waiting longer..but he did tell me if something is to go wrong it wouldn't be due to something I did or didn't do <--somehow that doesn't make me feel any better :). Congrats to everyone and I'm so happy everyone is moving on :) Take care

Hi Joker... thanks for your kind words... no, I'm not pregnant - at least not to my knowledge today... my story is a bit fast-paced, but to recap, the myomectomy was on May 2nd, 2007 (this month), got my period on May 5th, and ovulated on/about May 23rd (+ OPK on May 22nd)... ironically, I had my second post-op on May 22nd with the surgeon and I told him about the + OPK - his response was "try to get pregnant tonight, tomorrow, whenever".... and my myo was not minor - I have the pics - 6 inch scar on the outside, 8 fibroids removed(one huge one), and a VERY st_tched up uterus returned to my abdomen... and he wanted me ttc 20 days after the surgery... but he so d__n amazing, I can't help but trust his opinion... surgery, recovery, everything was a relative breeze and I'm 39... so there's the scoop... so many different opinions from the different surgeons... best to you and to everyone... you're in my prayers, collectively.

Hey Ladies,
It's been a while since I've posted and just wanted to say Hello to everyone! It is great to hear that you are doing great, Melissa... your pregnancy is a great inspiration. Jeanette, your story is soo interesting... your doctor sounds great. My doctor is also very proactive and encouraged me to start TTC as soon as possible after the myo. I was on Lupron prior to the myo, so she said it might take a few months for that to get out of my system. Had the myo Jan 29, 2007 ... waited I think 5 weeks before having s_x... so officially started TTC in April... not pregnant yet, but I am a__suming now the Lupron is totally out of my system and am hoping to be pregnant by end of summer!! Ms. Monet... good luck today with the transfer!!! Joker, good to hear that you moving along in the process... when will you begin TTC??

Hi Julianne, I'm glad that you are back and all is well with you. Good luck with ttc..I too was hoping to be pregnant by end of summer I had my myo in March and I originally thought I would onlyhave tow ait 3 months but right after my surgery my doc told me to wait a year and then after my post op visit he told me to wait at least 3 to 6 months so I'm scared to try anything sooner. I think I may go get checked out in August and then start trying after that. I at least want to prego by the end of the year..hopefully. I know it is a race against time..so I don't want to wait too long. MsMonet, how are things with you. Post soon so we can know you are OK and very soon to be prego :) Take care everyone...keep posting.

JOKER-I totally hear you when you mentioned racing against time. I got scar tissue less than 5 months after my Myo. The scar tisue blocked my tubes. Thats why I have to get IVF.

Calling MsMonet! Where are you girl! I'm thinking about you and praying you get some plus signs. As each day go by I am growing more and more impatient with waiting to ttc! I can't take it anymore! It now has been 3 months and I know I said I was going to go off birth control in October and start trying then but I can't wait! I'm just venting here..I know I will wait because I'm scared to death... I have a question..has anyone's doctor told them them should go on progesterone? I know after my deliver..the doc (not my usual doc) told me I need to have a myo done and when I get pregnant go on progeterone to stop pre-mature labor (again not trying to scare anyone just putting info out there) because once you have a pre-mature baby you are mor e likely to be at higher risk for pre-mature labor (again this is not to scare anyone..this is not for certain) The reasons why I went into to pre-mature labor was because of the fibroids..no other reasons..so that could possible mean I won't have that problem next time because there wasn't some underlying medical condition..you know what I mean..so just wanted to know if any is on progesterone or know anything about it.. Take care..let me know how you are all doing..sorry if I post comes across a little manic!

Ms. Monet? What is happening? Joker_I did progesterone suppositories for luteal phase defect. No big deal. I also take blood thinner injections (I HATE) for Factor V Leiden. Seems I have all the text book ailments for preventing pregnancy outcomes. But hey, here I am at 26 weeks holding tight! All for the greater good!
