KAT-Hello and thanks so much for the inspiration. I endure!!! Seems like so many odds came against me but I still made it through. In the beginning, I started out with no fibroids then I was told that I had four since the start of pregnancy... Then I was told that my fibroids would cause so many problems. Perhaps, it did with the bleeding episodes once, sometimes twice a month.... I was told that there may not be enough room for the babies to grow because the fibroids would be so big... I was told that the fibroids would steal most of the blood supply from the babies... I just took a Glucose Test, last wk. My score came back elevated so I have to take the 3 hour test. I pray that I don't have Gestational Diabetes. My diet is actually good. I don't understand all of this... I was perfectly healthy before being preggo. JOKER-Originally, I was told Feb 18th minus a month (for twins) which would be Jan 18th now my doctor believes I can go further along.... I am so excited and I just can't wait. I heard that the fibroids are supposed to shrink after pregnancy... I pray they do. Man, I just had a MYo in Oct 2006. Well, God has brought me this far... I gotta trust more.. :O) JEANETTE-I will see what I can do OK. :o) Oh, wow. Yes, you are right. We most likely will have snow. It's funny. We just got snow, yesterday. I woke up at 5am and looked out the window. It was so beautiful. Remain positive, girl. You never know what will come from this. I will pray for you and dh!!!

Meditate on your goal which is to heal and prepare for a child soon... This will work out for you! Make sure you walk! The more you walk... The better you will feel.

Hello Girls-Hope all is well. Well, I had to go to the ER, today. I had some bad cramping which turned into contractions... Never been in pain like that before. Didn't get to eat my first meal til around 6pm and arrived there around 9:30am. I took the FNN test which tells you if you shall deliver the same day or within the next 2 weeks... It came back negative. They then checked to see if my cervix was open, etc. Come to find out... The pain was coming from a degenerating fibroid which appeared after I got prego. Girls, this was so painful that I cried. I ended up getting 3 IV's and Indomethician. Pain went away around 7pm, thank God. I am home and OK. I pray that I will not experience this again before I deliver.

HOPEFUL-Thanks so much. Girl, I am counting down. My tummy is so full that its hard to breathe when I lay flat or at an angle. My tummy is heavy when I walk. But I am so grateful for this blessing. I can do this... Just want God to lighten up on me. :O) JEANETTE-Girl, make your birthday come faster, OK. Work hard, pls. :O) Ya know, I am so glad its not summertime. I couldn't imagine it being summer with this belly. Good night, Ladies.

Ms. Monet - THANK GOD you went to the ER when you started having contractions. And THANK GOD you are far enough along in your pregnancy that the medical staff is taking your pain seriously and giving you medication. Fibroid degeneration pain in dreadful, and I used to cry daily because of my pain. Unfortunately, I wasn't that far along yet, and my doctor disregarded my pain. I'm so proud of you for making it this far, and I'm praying that He will continue to keep you in His care. February will be here before you know it :-)

Ms. Monet - Thank God you and your babies are fine! You have been through so much! How is your husband doing? He must be too wonderful!!! Thanks for keeping all of us ab___st of everything. We may experience the same thing when we're pregnant. I feel like I get so much information from this board! Please continue to take it as easy as you can. I love your optimism!!! Sasha

Hi everyone just wanted to let you all know whats been happening since my last post. I went for my pre-surgery testing last Wednesday.. on thursday I got a call from a doctor from the hospital telling me that he got the results and that my liver enyzmes were high . He also wanted me to see a specialist and that he thinks I wont be able to get my myomectomy done. (which was for this wednesday, dec. 12). So after I spoke with him I called the specialist that he recommended me and made an appt. for the following day. (friday). Went to the special and he recommended me to take the blood test again so i went back to the hospital and took more blood tests and spoke to a nurse there that mentioned since it was friday i wont get the results till monday. (today) So you can imagine how I am feeling right about now... Girls please say a prayer for me.. I just hope that its not something else that I have to deal with. I just hope that the results come out okay and that I can get my operation on wednesday. Just when I thought that I was ready...

hi girls... some good news and bad news... first (and only) IUI didn't work this month, so I'm disappointed, of course... BUT... am switching insurance 01/01/08 and IVF is fully covered!!!... very excited and feel blessed regarding that discovery... don't think IUI was an option for me because of male infertility issues, but RE feels IVF could def. do the trick... now the $$$ won't be an issue... please pray for me and my insurance :)
