The order of the threads is based on the date and time of last posting. For example, if this post was the last one - the thread list would show the name and t_tle and the date would be May 14, time 8:00am PST. Hope this helps.

maybe I am just not getting this but when i follow the directions just left to reply or ask a questions it just takes me to the first question of the bunch

Well I see the last post popped up so here it goes, I am hoping that someone is on and can give me some information as I am just about nuts. I had my tubes "clamped" in 1993, always been on schedule with my monthly period. Currently, I am 6 days late, cramping, leg aches, insomina at night, but needing to nap during the day, sore b___sts (with one producing a milky fluid) I bought an Answer home pregnancy test which has two tests. I took the test after I had been up for a couple of hours. The first one one line was very clear and the second line was visible but lighter and then after 10 minutes it faded. I then took the second and the color didn't fade all the away across. So, I went to Urgent care to get a blood test. They wouldn't do one as I was told it was highly unlikely that I was pregnant. They did a urine test it came back negative. At this point I am pretty confused. My last pregnancy was eleven years ago and with that one they did a blood test. Any ideas, comments. Thanks.

Cindy, Sorry my directions weren't very clear. You post did go up. I completely understand about the doctor. When I called mine they said they were sure I wasn't pg and if my period doesn't start in few weeks to call them back. I don't like that, I feel demeans me and a__sumes I don't know my own body...My mother always said that you have to do "in their face" health care. Meaning don't let them make the final choice - you make it and insist on a blood test..remember the doctor works for you. They don't know your body like you do...tell them that..and if your doctor still order the test go somewhere else. I know you're thinking 'what if the test is negative' the I told you so thing..just thank them and say if it doesn't start in another week we will do a blood test again..I hope this helps, I know it sounds harsh but always remember no one knows your body better than you..best of luck

i hear that it also depends on how old you are when you get them tied. it happens in about every 300 tubals. you would be suprised how many i have heard of!

Hilary Do a google search and look for tubal reversal. There is lots of information and contacts and discussions. I had one done. Depends where you live and what you call not much money. I had mine done in Melbourne Victoria, Have conceived twice in twelve months although both miscarried. Im still trying Im too remarried and Im 43. I have three teenagers. Hope this helps

Berry You can have a procedure where they inject dye into the tubes that tells if the tubes are blocked or tied off. If your Dr did the procedure it should be done, what makes you think they may not be?

I tested this morning with a BFN (wasn't the first urine of the day however) it is now day 31 since my last cycle, still think I'm pg and AF is due sometime between yesterday and this weds. I just wish I knew for sure one way or the other. I'm going to Jamaica next Sunday and I need this resolved.

I think anything can happen. Just look at all of the ones that have gotten pregnant. If you think you might be, please go to your doctor and dont be afraid to ask questions!!!

I have an appointment to see my doctor late this afternoon. keep your fingers crossed for me..I would feel like such a dope if it turns out I'm not pg - watch AF start as soon as I walk into her office...

Even if you're not pregnant this go around, maybe God just wanted to wake you up to that desire again, and put you on the road to a tubal reversal! Let us know as soon as you hear something!

I had my tubal done Dec. 1999 at the age of 22 (the day after my 3rd child). I got it done because my first child was due to being molested (raped) at 15 and I kept her. My relationship I had with my remaining 2 children's father wasn't great (he raped me & I filed charges after I left him for cheating). He caught me getting off work. So I haven't dated & have gone to counseling, but I do regret having a tubal. I did it out of fear. I love kids and I babysit everyone's child that will let me. I once had about 7 kids with me, I felt so alive. God has sent me a great man now and I know at some point he will want to have a least one child. Though we are not practicing now, I want you to keep your thoughts and prayers with me. Thanks.

i had my tubes tied 3 years ago and now my period is 3months late....possible i my be pregnant??

I am just a concern person as well.I had my tubes tied 7 years ago, and I have not had a period since the end of Feb.begining of Mar. and here it is May. M y b___st hurt very bad and all I do is sleep, eat,I have gained about 10 lbs. in the last two months.I had a ultra sound done last week but nothing showed up so I just wanted to know can you get pregnant even though my tubes are tied?I have heard that they are supose to grow back after you last child turns 5 to 7 years old and I know that is true because I had a friend that got a 5 month old baby and me and her oldest child is the same age and her last child and my baby is the same age so if someone can respond I will be more than happy to take advice.
