To momoto3boys: Im feeling alot better, how about u? My pain was so bad the day of the shot and the day afterwards, I couldnt walk either. All I could really do is lie down, it even hurt to sit for too long. Its been 5 days now, no more pain except for a cramp every now and then. I did start bleeding on sat. It was kind of heavy this morning with a lot of dark clots, I guess the methotrexate is doing its job. I havent heard anythng about my labs since having the injection. I pray that one works, I dont want to have to get another yet I know it is likely that I will because of my hcg being so high when I finally did get treated. Paula, good luck, and for our sakes I hope this doesnt happen to us again. If it does I may get a hysterectomy next time.

Update got the results of my blood pt and it was positive. But the hcg was not were it was supposed to be and the doctors say my body is reabsorbing the tissue and to come back in 2 days to make sure my blood level is back to normal. I wish all the rest of you the best of luck, and my prayers are with you all.

To Missy - I am feeling a whole lot better than I did Thursday and Friday. I have the occasional cramp here and there. But I have not bled yet but my doctor and nurse told me that was to be expected being how early it was. I spotted once Sunday morning and that was it. I had my blood drawn again yesterday and haven't heard anything from my doctor, so I guess it is going down. But overall I feel like my body is getting back to normal. That is one shot I do not ever want again. I am like you, if it happens again just take everything out cause I don't want to go through that again.

I'm wondering the same thing I had my tubes tied 5yrs. ago. I haven't had a period in over a month. I've been having all the symptoms of pregnancy and had two hpts come back positive. I've also been having some pains in my right side sometimes light but other times really strong to the point it hurts to take a breath but i never thought it could really be pregnancy. I thought I was pregnant 2yrs. ago with similar symptoms but the dr, said there was no way cause my tubes were tied I later started my period with a very large clump but thought nothing of it but after reading some of your stories I'm begining to wonder if it really was all in my head. But what do I do if they say that this time.

Is it possible to get pregnant after having your tubes tied? Can you do artifical insemination?

To Jeanna - I think what most women are having a problem with is getting tough with their doctors. Don't let them tell you it is all in your head, that you just want to be pregnant so your body is showing symptoms or some such nonsense. It can happen, whether they've been burnt, cut, tied, etc. Tell them to draw blood and test for HCG's. It's a simple test that doesn't take much time, and hey they work for you not the other way around. They get paid either way, whether give you a line of BS or test your blood. It could become serious if you are pg so order a blood test. Find your answers!

I am 29yrs old, I had my tubes tied after my son was born in 2000. I've always had a period never was late.Until know I think I'm 2days late and all I've been doing is spotting. I don't think that I'm pregnant because my boyfriend thinks he can't have children since he's been trying for years to have one. I don't have any signs of pregnancy. Just wondering.I think it's mind over matter for me.

To:Paula
I've heard that sometimes it don't show up in your blood right away, do you think that's true. I know my period has come at the same time for the last 6yrs. it never fails i can set my watch by it and now i haven't had my period in going on two months now. I'm afraid the test might show up negative and really be positive. I've had three kids and 4 pregnancies I know what it feels like to be pregnant and i feel it now.I know in my heart I am and that's something we can't explain to the dr.s and my delima is how do we make them listen.

To Jeana: Hcg's show up faster in your blood than they do in your urine. They are produced by the placenta according to my doctor and if you are two months past due on your period, you need to go right away. If you went to the doctor and said "I would like a blood test to check for diabetes", they would do it right away because diabetes undetected and untreated could be fatal, well so could a tubal pregnancy. Tell your doctor your symptoms, hell have him do a pelvic if he just isn't wanting to do a blood test. And if he refuses to or tell's you it's all in your mind, please find another dr. Your health is more important than being polite and taking the dr's word. You alone know your body and they are here to help us. TELL THEM DON'T ASK!

I went to the docs last Friday and come to find out my tubes have grown back together. My husband and I are really excited. He (the doc) said that there is a 1 in 300 chance of this happening. Those aren't bad statistics. I hope that everyone gets a chance at another baby. And please go to the doctors if you think something is wrong.

I talked to a medical student that is becoming a ob-gyn doc, and she reasurred me that I can't get pregnant with the type of tubal that. But if I want to ease my mind is to take a pg test so that is what I will do. I am kind of happy that she told me that but I really want to have my boyfriends baby only because he thinks he can't and I want him to see what God can do. I will give you all a update on the results.

Shanika, I can't see any experienced Dr saying that it can't happen. Maybe that is highly likely that it won't happen, but most would not say it can't. So definitely go and get tested for your sake and your other childrens sake. Remember children are a blessing. They are our gift from God. Think about what I said and Best Wishes.

To Shanika - I am soooo with Toni. A student told you this. Please most dr's aren't aware of what the human body is capable of doing. I have done alot of research and reading since I found out I was pregnant after having a tubal almost 6 years ago. It can happen and it doesn't matter what type of tubal you had, cut, burnt, tied, cut several places, etc. If dr's who have been practicing for years and years aren't totally sure of why a body repairs itself or allows an egg to get fertilized after a tubal then what the hell does a student, OB-GYN or otherwise, think they are doing telling your that it can't happen. Last time I checked dr's, students oe people in general didn't make the miracles and other fascinating things that happen in this world happen. So go get tested, keep it in your mind that it could happen, tell other people that it could happen. Make more women aware that their procedure could fail at any time and they need to be aware of the symptoms and not just chalk it up to nonsense.
