I got my blood test result back from the Dr. today and it was negative. I am still having the pain on my right side and now I am feeling like..... That's OK. I have an appointment next Thurs. for him to take a look and make sure that everything is ok in that area. ? Does anybody know if a etopic preg. shows up on a blood test? ?

To Yaya Rodriguez: Yes, your ectopic pregnancy shows up on blood tests. I had a home pregnancy test after being 2 days late and it showed up positive when my doctor did a blood test 3 days after that. But hopefully, there isn't anything else wrong with you. Maybe it is just one of the side effects from having your tubal done. I pray that evrything turns out okay for you.

Now that I have the possible problem I hear of more and more cases. I don't know for sure

had my tubes tied a year ago. Last month my period was about 1 day long, skip a day then spot a day and am now due again in a few days, have tender belly, crying outbursts, tired all the time and my b___bs dont really fit in my bras. (never thought i would use that as a negative) i thought in the first year it was the most effective? help... my hubby would be thrilled and i would not. I am only 32 consolation this could be really early menopause???

Jeni - I would make an appt with your dr. A blood test can not only check for preg but menopause as well. If it was an ectopic preg then you would know it by now. It would have burst in your tube and the pain would have sent you straight to a hospital. So the best thing to do is to have dr. run tests on your blood and give you some answers and hopefully peace of mind. Best wishes!

For all of those who want a reversal and can not afford it.....In Alabama Blue Cross Blue Sheild will pay for the TOTAL cost of a reversal, you just have to make sure your policy covers its and the Doc says you need it.....I picked up the insurance just for this reason, had to wait one year from the first day of coverage, also let me add that my tubes were tied in 1996, the doctor wrote, CUT AND BURNT SHORT, IRREVERSABLE....., i am stubborn and persisted to try and have them look to see.....i got pregnant im march a little over a year after my reversal, (had a m/c), not much is permanent, get your doc to do a laproscopsy to see what your tubes look like, i am glad i did. Hope this info helps someone out there.

This isn't an answer, it is a question. I am new here and just was wondering, I had my tubes tied in Sept of 97, all was going well until last year when all of a sudden I had a period that lasted 21 days and pa__sed a HUGE clot, I went to DR and she told me to take three BCP a day to get it to stop. Since then all is fine, last month 5/15 i had regular cycle and had to get prescrip for v____al infection ( on 6/6/05) now since my period on 5/15 I have had no sign of period or anything. Have dull ache in lower left side about an inch and a half below belly b___ton and to the left about an inch and a half. Can anyone enlighten me as to what may be going on. Took a HPT and it was neg. I don't want to worry but I have NEVER been late before (except when preg with three kids). Thanks

i had my tubal done iin feb of 05, now im having pg signs my period is do the 5 of july but today it has been spotting light pink not a regular period,.could this mean preganant?

This is a follow up to my previous post. I have taken two hpt and they are neg. Could the "cheap brand" not be accurate from Food Lion. I still have not gotten af, and still no sign of it. Only "symptoms" I have are tired, peeing lots and no af. I have not had one since5/15/05. Anyone have any clue. I want to wait till Friday and see if anything happens then will go to doc.

Well, I just wanted to update everyone on my status. I went to my PCP on Friday and told him about my pain that I was having around my lower right side. He sent me to get a sonogram and v____al ultrasound. I got my results back today and they have found that I have cysts around/on my overies. Most of my pg symptoms have gone away, and no af. I will see my OB on Thurs and figure out what it is that I needs to be done. Thanks to you all for being here for us.

A couple years ago, I had my tubes cut, burnt and my doctor is also saying it is irreversable. I read on an earlier posting that someones tubes reattached? I've had two months go by without having a regular period. Meaning, monthly was only one day in the past two months. SO, your telling me that people can get pregnaint after a cut and burn? It has crossed my mind that it could happen, and that is why I'm here.
