Stephanie, I had experienced the same thing: pain on my sides(felt like I was ovulating), I had all of the signs and symptoms of pregnancy. I too took a hpt and it was neg. I then went to the Dr. and both the pt and the blood test was neg. I finally went to get an ultrasound and they discovered that I had cysts on my ovaries. I was treated with "the pill". I am doing much better. I just finished my treatment - 6 months worth. So, now I am just waiting to get my TR, scheduled for March 2006. Talk to your Dr. about the possibilities of cysts, I believe they are the cause of all of the symptoms.

hello everyone i have been reading over your posts for some time now and would like to see what you all thought about my situation. First I had a tubal done almost 9 years ago I have 3 children already, but i was in an abusive relationship and thought i was nver going to get out of it, but i did and now i regret getting my tubes done. I have never even thought of getting pregnant for almost 9 years until I met this wonderful man and I remember just getting off my af when we met, which was nov 19, 2005 when didn't have s_x until thanksgiving holiday from the 24th to the 28th four days of s_x well after that, i had my af or i think on dec 9th but for only a couple of days and my periods are very regular oh yeah i am 28 day cycle but on it for 5-7 days, so anyways my b/f told me your pregnant i said no i can't get pregnant you know that, but then i started wondering if i am i didn't notice the signs until my b/f pointed them out to me, my appet_te has really picked up, i have sick congested for 2 months, nausaed all the symptoms and my belly looks pregnant. I have taken 4 dollar general htps all negative, i remember with my kids i had my af up to almost 3 months pregnant with them so i am confused i had my af on 1-3-06 seemed regular but i still feel pregnant. any thoughts?

Im back..... I had a tubal in 2000 am ectopic preg, last year 2005, and am feeling the same way again. The only thing different this time is the hpt came out neg. but I swear I feel the signs just like last year. Im late....and that never happens, my b___st are starting to hurt and im bloated with lower back pain. Does anyone know how common it is to have reoccurring ectopic pregnancies? I cant take this again.........it was so heart wrenching last time.... I still think about the baby that I couldnt have.

well i don't but i've been reading about that lately i had mine done almost 4 years ago now any way they say every 1 in 200 will get pregnant after 5 years. so i got a little scared cause i had my done and they only clamped them lol so 5 years is the answer i guess.

Well i have 2 daughters, My last one is 3 now, well i had my tubes cut tied and burned , after she was born, Well since then i have been pregnant every year since that and miscarriage, well its been like every year i get pregnant and then miscarriage shortly after, So i have no clue whats going on, i know i just got back from the hospital today had to take a shot for this last pregancy it was in my tubes they think, if the shot dont get it out of my tubes then i have to have surgrey to have my tubes remove, I was wanting to try to have another since me and my ex hubby split up and im with someone now that dont have kids, and he wants a kid badly, i asked the doctor if i have this procedure, could i get pregnant he said only way is invetrofertilization , I need to do some studing and see if insurances pay for that or what not, or see how much it cost and stuff, :) maybe something will happen

Hi, I'm 26 years old and my tubals are clamped with a filshie clip. I want another son so...bad! What are the odds of the clamps coming off? I lost a child right after the sugery in 2002. He was 2 months old. I thought I was through having children. I,m really desperate.

Tweety, Do an online search for Dr. Berger in Chapel HIll NC. He does 20 reversals each week. You can send in your tubal ligation operative reports to his office and they will look over to see if you should be a good candidate for reversal. I'm planning on having the reversal with him as well. Dr. B has the most experience with reversals than anyone else that I know of. Good luck

babeinthecloud - January 19

Faith, I was wondering how much Dr. Berger charges for a reversal?? I am looking into getting a reversal myself and really can't afford it but if his prices are like Dr. Perez I could do it with my tax return. Dr. Perez charges 2159.00.....but I don't want to travel all the way to Mexico. Thanks! Lisa

faith - January 20

I hope I'm not breaking any rules, but here is Dr. B's home page. http://www.tubal-reversal.net/ He charges much more than Dr. Perez but if you search his site you will find stats of HIS patients, not everyone else's combined stats. I'm not aware of anyone else who has kept track of their own results like Dr. B. He is also beginning to track the effects of a TR for post tubal ligation syndrome symptoms. You will find some women who just want to feel "whole" again and are seeking a TR for hopeful relief of PTLS and not having more children. Dr. B. also offers to his patients the ability to start an account that you can pay on at your own convenience until you have saved enough to pay for the TR. Explore his message board and you will be amazed. I have not had my TR yet but I'm hoping sooner than later. My TL created many physical problems that I now recognize as PTLS and I want my life back. Good luck.

babeinthecloud - January 20

Faith: Thank you so much for the info. Like others I do want another child but at the same time even if I don't have anymore, feeling whole again would be a reward in itself. To be able to have the "choice" again is very empowering. It sorta looks like I will never be able to afford a TR...unless I hit a lottery jackpot!! LOL But until then I will continue to pray that maybe I would be one of those women that have a TL failure. Good luck to you and keep us updated on your TR! Lisa

I am 27 and had my tubes tied 10 months ago, cut tied and burn, i am 1 week late with my period, preg test was neg-- is it possible?

shelley - January 22

I was 4 months late, neg tests, normal hormones levels, normal thyroid, etc. AF finally showed up, but it started with spotting, and now 1 week later it is very heavy, needing the bathroom every 30 mins, the heavy part is on day 5, so I've had AF for 13 days, Many huge clots in the last 2 days, almost considering a miscarriage that took a few months to expel. I had a mis-miscarriage in 98. Finally seeing the OB dr on Thrus. As much as I hate to lose a child, I hope it is a miscarriage, then it gives me hope that something came untied.

BrandiLPN2005 - January 24

Hello, my name is Brandi. I had a tl in 2001 when I was 21 and after the birth of my third son. I totally regret doing it!! I had a ring placed on my tubes. Has anyone heard of anyone with the rings that has gotten pregnant? I am like 10 weeks late, took 2 hpt and both were neg. I would love to have another baby. I really hope someone responds to this. Thank you!
