Hi a little freaked out my name is Michelle. I wouldn't worry to much for now your body could be playing tricks on you because your so scared of being pregnant. Is there no way to get the money for a pregnancy test? If your not pregnant that should put your mind at ease. If you are pregnant though are you open to a private adoption? I am 33 and have been married for 8 years. I have three children my youngest is two. I had a tubal after the last one. Now I feel that I would really like to have another little girl so my daughter will have a sister to grow up with. If you are pregnant and are interested give me a call at 678-388-9605. Or you can call if you just need to talk.

Hi Allison Austin this is Dianna Michelle. I Had My tubes tide about two years ago. About a year ago I started having problems getting anxious, mood swings, hot flashes etc. Well since then they have told me that I have anxiety disorder and have put me on depression medicine. I have never had this problem before and I do not believe that I am depressed. The medicine does not work very well either I still have symptoms. Anyway I felt like maybe I was going into early menapause. I asked the doctor if this was possible and they just laughed at me. I have never had this before but I started having bloating and tender b___bs. It was a false alarm. But i started doing some research on tubals and found a medical article that stated having a tubal can possibly restrict your blood flow to your ovaries and cause you to start having early menapausal symtoms. The article also stated that it happens to about 50% of women after tubals. I don't know how accurate this article was but, I would diffenantly do my research before having it done, Birth control pills seem to be just as effective

Just thought I would update on me. I decided to wait til this cycle to see how tihngs went and it has been an odd cycle for me. I started AF 5 days late, bled for two days, nothing on day 3 at all, a bit of red blood on day 4, so I thought I was starting again. Nope. I cheked my bleeding after an hour and it was just spotting. I didn't even need anything for the rest of the night or today so far. Has anyone ever had anything like that happen before? Where it stops after a few days, you bleed a tiny bit more and it stops again? I've never had it happen.

totsntwins- Have you taken a hpt? You really should take one if this cycle is abnormal. If i wouldn't have taken a hpt i never would have known that i was pregnant. I was late 4 days, took a 2 tests on sun night, started spotting on a mon, bleeding heavy on tue, normal bleeding wed, spotted until sat. It was really messed up! Let us know what you find out!

Hey all! I would like to just say that this thread is really awesome and I found it back in November of 2006 when my tubal failed and I got pregnant but miscarried. I thought I hadn't wanted anymore babies but then when I actually got pregnant I realized I would really like to have one more before I get too old. After a year of trying I finally gave up and just gave it all to God in that if I am supposed to have another child he will give me one. So even though I have given up on trying, I still come on this thread and read everyone's stories and give advice when needed. Please everyone...keep up the updates! It would be so nice to read a story of success! It gives hope. Thank you all for your experiences! Good luck to you all! Lisa

I guess i have good and bad news... My hcg was 2 on 3-5. I'm glad its lowering on its own and i don't have to get that shot! I had a feeling that i miscarried. All of my symptoms started fading away. I guess hcg numbers can go up a little after a miscarriage. I had a few cramps the day before i started bleeding heavy, one day of heavy bleeding, and then a normal period. I guess i couldn't ask for things to go any smoother (besides tearing my nerves apart)!! I thought a miscarriage was painful and all! Atleast i know that i can get pregnant!

i am 33 i got my tubal in 98 after my 4th child . i think i am pregnant know , i have kicking and a lot of move ment in my tummy , 4 negitive home test , weight gain in my tummy ,still have my period . how common is it and is it safe . can any one shed some light on it . i feel like it is crazy thinking so have not went to the dr. but i can't over look the move ment . please help .

famacole: I would like to just say that I have heard of women having a period while being pregnant. It is not all that common but it does happen. As for movement....I know this is going sound weird but gas will feel like kicking sometimes and also (not to scare you) but fibroid tumors in the uterus can simulate movement as well. If I were you I would go to the Dr. and find out what is going on. Fibroid tumors also can cause your abdomen to swell therefore causing an appearence of pregnancy. I know this because it has happened to a number of people I know. If your pregnancy test is negative then it must be something other than pregnancy. Those tests are pretty accurate these days -aside from the occa__sional one every now and then but if you have taken more than one than I am willing to bet it's not lying. But I urge you to go and see your Dr. Good Luck!

I dont really know where to get my post it ended up in the wrong spot....can someone help me direct it into here?

cher59105 - March 9

ok got it...sometimes I wonder about me...here is my post... It took me two days to read everything in here. Wow some of the things I have read and seen. There is still one burning question that I have seen in here alot but no answers. Can one get pregnant with the Spring Clamps? I am going to make my story long as I feel it is a very touching story and hope everyone doesn't get mad at me for posting it in here. Here goes. Back in Mar of 05 I met this wonderful man, we got together we dated for almost 3 months, he then went back to his ex as he had a child with her and felt that he needed to be there for the baby and I didn't stand in the way of that. I moved out and moved into a motel, come to find out a week after moving into the motel I was pregnant, wow was I shocked and scared all at the same time, well I was under alot of stress due to him finding out I was as I didn't want him to know, and her of all people. Well they found out and I was getting hell for it. I was also working very hard as I didn't have to work before this. I lost the baby at 7 weeks along. I went about my life as usual, he came around in Oct. of 05 and was with me for about a week and left, then we started talking again in nov of 06 and we got back together. I was having my cycles as usual, until Jan. that is. We had intercourse in Feb. and he decided he didn't want me to get up...men..lol...well here it is Mar. 07 and I have not had a cycle since Jan 24th of this year. I like others am very scared of taking a test as I don't want to look like an idiot. I have been having so I thought, pre menstral symptoms ( sore b___sts, cramping, lower back pain, breaking out, bloated) Well I have been reading in here and they can also be pregnancy signs...hmmm....I get this sickly feeling once in a while but then it goes away. My nipples are very tender this month and a little purplish. That is about the only difference. I have been getting cramps off and on for about a week now. I feel like I am going to start and I don't. I am having some discharge, white non smelly and no itching. I usually get that right before I start though. I got fixed in Mar. of 97, 6 weeks after my last child.( that has been 10 years ago now) I am a single mother ( well engaged...lol) and have a very limited income, I wouldn't mind having another child but then again I got fixed for a reason. My children are g 14, boy 12, and g 10. I am now 37 years of age. I am a little concerned as I have gotten pregnant in the past with the same mans child. The cramping that I have been having isn't painful enough to even bother about a tubal pregnancy, they are normal menstral cramps then they go away after a while. So the burning question I have is the failure rate of the Spring Clamp and is it possible that I am pregnant. I am 13 days late and the last time I was this late I was indeed pregnant. I and the man that I am with are not ready at this point as he is just going to be moving in with me and we have things to work on( like a teenager that is awnry lol...). He wants children with me but he isn't ready either. So as we are both not ready that makes me wonder has the Lord seen fit that we are ready. I feel that the reason I was pregnant in 05 is he was trying to keep us together. Well that is all for now. I am very happy for those of you that have had beautiful babies after being fixed, and my prayers to those that have lost.

I have also been having some lower abdominal pressure and fluttery feelings...sorry forgot to add that.

Cher, if I were u, I would go to the doc and see what they say. Sounds like you could be pregnant..

I had my tubes tide after my son was born in 2000. Of course I thought I would be married forever at the age of 23. But now I am 30 and that has been over 6 years ago. I've wanted to have more children when the right person comes along. Well, I have met someone and we had intercourse when I was on my cycle and we were protected, until the condom broke. Anyways, ever since that encounter my period was non-existant. I was spotting so light after being heavy I wasn't sure what was going on. He decided to bring this observation to my attention the next day as well. Sorry about that, may be a bit too much. But anyways, I just shrugged it off as no big deal. Well, just this week I have been feeling lower abdominal pains (or tightness) like I am going to start my period again. I get pains in my b___st that come in go. I feel sick to my stomach and want to throw up all the time. All of a sudden I start to think that I may be pregnant, but I am not finding too much info online about getting pregnant while on your cycle. Accpet for the fact that it may happen. I am really scared. I am a divorced single mother of 2 and I am not sure how to handle the possibility of another child. I am not in the right situation for another one. I am a full-time student trying to finish school to be a teacher. I just don't feel right, I feel different. I know I have been pregnant twice but it has been so long I am not sure if I am feeling what I am feeling. I have a whole month to wait for my cycle to come around again. To top it off, I just met the guy about a month ago. He is 22 and has two babies of his own that are almost 2 and 5 months. I don't just sit at home and have s_x all day, but I am scared and I just want to cry. I needed to vent this with someone. Sorry all. Have a great night.

Have you tested? I would recommend using the first response early result test. I had my tubes cut and cauterized a year ago and had a miscarriage last month!! Anything can happen. If you are you need to see the dr asap because of the risk for ectopic after tubal surgery. I was having the symptoms just like you except i was 4 days late when i took the test. The day after i tested the bleeding started. I never would have known anything if i wouldn't have tested. Oh yeah- my hcg level was only 7 when the hpt picked it up!!!!! That's why i recommend that brand!!

cheschickie : I just wanted to say from what I have researched, it is VERY rare for a woman to get pregnant while on her period. Not to say it hasn't happened but it is highly unlikely. The miracle of pregnancy allows a small window of opportunity to concieve which is right around ovulation time. The sperm has to be able to meet the egg in the fallopian tube in order to fertilize it for a successful pregnancy and the only time that happens generally is in the days of ovulation which lasts about 4 to 5 days in the month. We tend to ovulate about 12 days after our period. I hope this helps but let us all know if you are the exception to the rule. Good luck to you! Lisa
