Problems During 32nd Week

My sister is in her 32nd week and suddenly yesterday started seeing spots. Then her finger went numb (which eventually went to both hands-the whole hand) and she was having trouble speaking.(Saying the wrong words and slurring/stammering). What could this be a sign of?

Does she have Diabetese? If so this could be a sign of this if she does not have known diabetes some women develop this during pregnancy and this may be her problem having high or low blood sugar. many women devlop diabetes and then they go back to normal after they have the baby.
