at thirty six im having my third child, there is a sixteen year gap.
my problem is at 17weeks i have started to loose a small amount of pinkish blood and a little of blood clots.
sore back and mild stomach pain.
I have been to the hospital and they took my blood pressure and temp, sent me home and tol me only to come back if the bleeding was heavy.
five days on and my symptoms havent changed .i once again called the hospital who said if the symptoms were not worse they couldnt help.

Hi Sharon,
As long as the bleeding is not coupled with severe cramping the doc's don't usually think too much of it. I've heard that some light spotting can be quite normal.. hope things work out for the best for you and the bubb.

you could be spotting due to your uterus expanding. so if they arent monitoring you closley then possibly its nothing to worry about. i would say just rest a while.

you should get a sonogram to put your mind at ease. my aunt spotted her entire pregnancy and everything was fine. good luck to you!
