ELAINE---sure you can join, but. . . .part of me doesn't want you officially joining our sorry group!! But definately do--and we'll kick you off in a few weeks! :) BTW. . in the last post of mine that my dd deleted I was asking you if there was ANY way you could talk them into letting you have an u/s earlier???? I mean. . . what's the point in waiting?? It's been over a week since the first, right?? By now they can tell if the goober is growing and if there is any change in HR. . . so you don't have to go through another 2 weeks of agonizing. KWIM?? What's their rationale? The good hormone levels are potentially good news, but only the u/s will tell. Can you beg? Even claim spotting/bleeding?? (I'm such a sneak!) Maybe you do better with waiting than I do, but I would just die waiting another 2 weeks!! Becky

Becky - I have thought the same thing - I think two weeks is a little unfair. I will call on Monday and see if I can work something out. I have been getting very depressed in the meantime - I just want to know.

Hi all! I have been away this weekend (still away from home) at my in-laws, because they have air conditioning so we drove here so we could sleep well for a couple of night! I've missed chatting with you guys. it's hard to get on teh computer here b/c their house isn't baby proofed and when dd is sleeping it's here in the computer room so i just don't seem to get to it. anyhow...thanks for setting up the group, Becky...Looking forward to us getting on there together :) Teresa - thanks for your message - you made me laugh ! unfortunately here in Canada the doctors' offices aren't always privately run so there tends to be less efficiency (in my opinion) than in the US ones. But I've only dealt with a few, so I can't really generalize. but we don't have issues like insurance to deal with. the flip side of the coin is that we're very very lucky to have universal health care coverage. But that's another discussion. so no changes on my end. i've still had daily spotting, but no cramps or clotting or anything. I've been awfully sad, but trying to stay busy and not think about what's going on. as we've all said, the waiting is the hardest part, and waiting for it to end seems to be pretty gruesome too. i imagine i'll be able to reach my dr. first thing tomorrow a.m., so hopefully i'll have a plan from there. a bit of a relationship problem with me and dh, because he thinks we should just 'end it' now since it has very little promise, and I, (although I'm pro-choice) don't feel comfortable doing that since this is a baby I very much want. kwim? it's made for a lot of teary discussions (although he certainly would never force me to do anything i didn't want to do. he just hates to see my mental health suffering while we're in limbo). well better run. will be able to write more once i'm home (tonight). to anwer angela's question, unfortunately in my research i have read that low heart rates in the first trimester are correlated with a higher incidents of abnormalities in children who are carried to term. mind you it was only a difference of 3%, fromwhat I remember. but still a sad thought :( Big hugs to you all. hope to hear from you soon!

Hello Rain & Everyone~*~*~*Although I haven't posted much lately I have been reading and keeping up with all of you. I had my 1 week post D&C check-up and I'm healing as expected and my numbers have gone from over 70,000 to 2100 in just a week. That means the pregnancy hormone will be gone soon and we can start trying again. ~*~*~*~*I have finally made all but 1 telephone call to my family to let them know about the loss of my little one. Angela and Lesley and any others that are waiting for u/s here is an extra dose of "Healthy Baby Fairy Dust~*~*~*~*~*~*Love & Hugs.

Think I got on the group chat ok, Becky, this is going to be really nice :) ps - I had to take out the dash after yahoo in the web address, just in case anyone else copies and pastes the address into their browser.

Lesley - June 12

Thanks, Katie. I am so glad to hear you are well on the road to recovery. did you get the support you were hoping for from your family?

sammousse - June 12

KATIE--Glad you are doing well! It's time to move up and on!! I'm looking forward to being "done" and ready to go---in your position--within a few weeks. Do you want to join our Yahoo group--or do your just want to close this chaper and move on?--We'd love your company. . . Becky

Elaine - June 12

I cant find the yahoo group - I cut and pasted and removed the dash after the yahoo...?

Rain - June 12

Elaine - Remove ALL of the dashes, including the one before and after the final slash that follows "Fastfriends2005". That should get you there :). ~Rain

Thank you Becky and Lesley~*~*~*~*I would love to join. I am a member of yahoo but I'll need to look for my id and pa__sword, I haven't used it in over a year...I'll sign up for a new one if I can't find it~*~*~*~*Becky I would love to become pregnant at the same time as you and any of the other ladies that are ready. Wouldn't it be glorious~*~*~*~*I pray and I visualize myself with a (dare I say it???) double stroller. I hope this will make all of you smile. The thought makes me feel happy all over~*~*~*~*It's nice to smile & dream again~*~*~*~*~*~*~*Love & Hugs to all.

Katie - June 12

Lesley: Yes, my mom and aunt were very supportive. I asked my mother to tell my grandmother. Thank you for asking...and its wonderful that you have 2 little ones and we all want you to make it a fast threesome~*~*~*~*~*Love & Hugs. PS Angela and Elaine SUPER DUPER Healthy Baby Fairy Dust to you both!!!!

Lesley - June 12

Katie - get onto yahoo! it's neat to have it up and running!

Lesley - June 12

Elaine - sorry to hear you've been feeling down about your very-probable-good news! I'm sure it will all work out ok, from what you've shared so far. but the waiting is tortuous, so I agree with pushing for an u/s , even if it gives you two more weeks of peace-of-mind. let us know how it goes tomorrow....good luck!

Lesley - June 12

Hey gang - how many of you are on Eastern time ? I rarely seem to be writing at the same time as you all!

Teresa - June 13

ELAINE~~I asked my dr. when i found out my babys heart rate was low, if there was a chacne that if the baby did survive, if there would be a possibility that the baby could have heart problems in the future, he told me no usally its something that the pregancy can correct itsself and told me that if the heartrate went up (which in didn't) that the baby would be born healthy and fine.......I hope this makes you feel better.......teresa

Elaine - June 13

Thaks Teresa - I appreciate the info. Lesley - are you going to talk to you dr today?? I am going to call and push the u/s up to this week - or at least try like hell too. If not I am going to try what Becky had suggested - lie and say something is going on to get in. I hate to do that but you gotta do what you gotta do! Lesley - I live in Connecticut so I am suffering through the same heat wave as you - isnt it disgusting!!!!! It is going to break on Wed! I am going to try the yahoo group again - I hope no one minds me joining right now! You guys are the only ones who have gone through what I am going through so your all I have for a real support! Plus I want to stay in touch with everyone to see how everyone makes out. We have all shared each other's sorrow and it would be great to be there when all the good news comes rolling in too! Rain - how are you doing?? Just a quick question to anyone who might be able to help me with this - I know when alot of you went for your u/s there was no heartbeat. If that happens will I somehow know? I still feel pregnant - would I continue to if the baby's heart stopped? I just dont want to be more of a nervous wreck at the u/s than I all ready am. Take care everyone!!
