I rented a fetal dopplar beacuse the obgyn said I wasn't pregnant, even though I had many symptoms including a swollen abdomen (fibroids and molar pregnancy were ruled out). According to the instructions provided, the placenta sounds like wind blowing through the trees. I did pick up that sound several times and I hear what sounds like the baby's heartbeat, but it seems slow. I would be about 15 wks, so I know the heart rate should be 120 or higher. What I am hearing ranges from 100-126. I know it's not my heart rate, because that was 86-90. Could I still be pregnant even though the dr said I wasn't and would the low rate mean I will miscarry or that the baby has a heart problem? I am over 35 , so I don't know if that has anything to do with it.
