I am 6.5 weeks pregnant (first time) Had an ultrasound two days ago after spotting and saw a heart beat of the foetus but was told the out look was not good as the yolk sac was only at 5 weeks and the foetus at 6 weeks. Told 80% chance of m/c am still bleeding but only when go to the toilet and it usually stops during the night..Can't find any info anywhere about this

Too Early to tell. My wife just got back from a 2nd opinion doctor. She had a ultrasound at what they called 7 1/2 weeks and found a small sac, no baby, 1 1/2 day later they found what they thought could have been, but it was too small, and he saw blood he said. He recommended an IMMEDIATE DNC, thank God, I felt skeptical of this, after seeing it change from day to day, and urged my wife to get a 2nd opinion. 1 Day later, at a different medical center (state of the art center) they found the baby, and a strong heart beat, and come to find out she was only 5 1/2 weeks, and Everthign was normal. Tho this other doctor was ready to abort the baby this morning in a DNC. Please don't belive everthign the doctors tell you! Always get a 2nd opinion if they are trying to force u to make a life or death decision. I personally belive, ultra sounds should not be held liable up to past 10 weeks. Thats our expereince.. And come to find out the blood teh 1st doctor saw was old blood from when she got pregenet. My wife has had a brown discharge tho, but this is normal. I have also read where some bleeding can be normal. Just dont make any quick decisions, please. Give it more time.
