5 wks pregnant. 28 yrs old and my 1st pregnancy. Had some light cramping similar to menstrual cramps for 3 days but dr said that as long as I was not spotting it was ok. Apparently it was the time I should have been on my next period. The cramping has subsided but today just saw light pink spotting after wiping?? My 1st ultra sound is scheduled for next week and I'm very worried. :/

Kerri from Sept 21, please let me know how it's going cos my symptoms are exactly the same as yours. I've got my next US on Monday (it's Friday and I wish I could know sooner that all is well). Please let me know if everything is still OK. I am now 12 weeks and still have small intermittent spotting since 2 weeks ago when I had a bigger show of blood. Didn't have spotting with my first child, so I'm concerned. My prayers to all those who are worried or sad. God has a plan.

Just had an US on Tuesday the 4th, everything is looking good, baby's measurements are right in the range they should be, fluids are good, and we found out 85% that its a girl!!! Spotting has pretty much stopped. I wouldnt worry, I'm sure you and your baby are fine. Keep me posted though. Good luck and all my best to all of you.

Everyones body is different but I just wanted to let you know so you could catch it quicker than I did. My body was spotting for the first 6 weeks, I was put on progesterone supplements from 4 weeks on because of low levels. The bleeding stopped and I thought I had caught it. I think the supplements just prolonged the m/c. At 6 weeks I saw a hb. At 8 weeks there was no hb. I mc a week later. I really think that I have low prog because of other factors and I think if I would have caught it sooner it would've been fine. Some people do have success stories with the prog. I have started spotting at 12 wks I am pregnant with 2 miracles. Light pink and kinda brownish like a light period. There is no cramping or pain I can still feel them moving around. I'll stay full of faith and pray

Momma, what did the u/s show? I am 5 weeks tomorrow and had some pink in with discharge. Not much. The doc said don't worry until it becomes like menstrual period/discharge...

When you guys say you are spotting is any of it (like a few drops) collecting on a pad? I am asking because I am 5 days late for my period. I have taken 1 test and it came up positive. The past 4 days I ahve spotted but as a lot of you had described, only when you urinate. Well today i noticed that i was spotting (brownish discharge). I went to the bathroom a few hours later and noticed a few drops on my lightday pad. Not sure what to do/think? I so desperately want a baby. Any advice?

I am so glad I found this website...I am 10 weeks pregnant and I started spotting brownish/pinkish discharge...I called the doc and they said to just put my feet up and rest and come in Monday morning...I was very stressed out but this site made me feel much better......the discharge I am having is usually when I wipe but was in my panties the first time....

I am 9 weeks pregnant and last night had what looked like very light brown discharge. Since then I've only had a little after I urinate, I went to see my doctor this morning and he didn't seem concerned but just to make sure I'm going for my ultra sound thursday. I have some cramping but I've had that since I've become pregnant (am told it's my uterus getting bigger) Help!

I had spotting and bleeding through a couple of my pregnancies. For most women it is normal (may not seem that way), but it happens. As long as it is spotting, not a full b__wn period, the chances are very good. My problems was the blood vessels in the cervics would break, to cause the bleeding. Watch for cramping in the uterous, and heavier bleeding. Try to stay away from heavy lifting. The children I have where I had bleeding turned out perfect, but I did unnecessary worring all the way through the pregnancy. I hope all goes well for you, and try to stay relaxed as much as you can.

to all i hope this helps some of u! i had alot of bleeding after intercourse at about 9wks. it lasted about 16hrs. i had an us at 9wks 3days and it showed hb, baby was fine, a little bigger (9wks6dys). i have spotted ever since dk brown, sometimes stringy mucous, sometimes just brown yuck. i am now at 13wks 3days. i rented a doppler at 10 wks and heard hb right away, and check it daily to make myself feel better! my dr also says sometimes it happens. i don't have placenta previa, cervix is fine, and he also checked my ovaries with the vag us at 9wks. to rule out any other complications. i honestly think everything is fine. i have no cramping and feel pretty good. this is my fourth child and i never had anything like this before. good luck w/ all your pregnancies!

Hi. I am about 9 weeks pregnant and i have been spotting through out the whole pregnancy... i experienced implantation bleeding which was a dark brownish color, then about two weeks later the spooting came back, i have been spotting ever since. Now it is about the time when i would normally start my period and i started spotting light brownish it carried on like that for about 4-5 days, now the spotting has turned a light pink... it leaves a few spots on a panty liner , but mostly when i wipe. My b___st have not been sore for about 3 days now and the morning sickness has stopped... i still feel pregnant and have not pa__sed any clots... but i am having dull pain in my lower abdomen. i have talked to a doctor and he said it was OK... but that was all. i am really worried as this is my first baby... i dont know if this is normal or if it is more serious... the only thing my doctor has said is that ,, yes you are pregnant.. i havent been back yet, but i am afraid to go and hear some bad news.... can anybody offer some rea__suring info?

I am 8 weeks pg and yesterday experienced some light pink spotting and then pa__sed 2 very small clots. The spotting has stopped and everything seems fine now. No cramping or anything at all. This is the first place i've seen other people mention having clots. I'm worried this may be the beginning of a miscarriage. Anyone else have clots and have everything come out OK?
