Sarah, so glad to hear you and bubs are doing well. It is so good to hear so many good stories come out of this. How far are you now?

I posted on 12/28 and appreciate all the positive feedback. I too have a happy story... I had another ultrasound and there are no longer any signs of the hemorrhage and I have not had any additional bleeding. I am still praying, but my DR doesn't seem concerned anymore either. Still no lifting over 10lbs, etc., but otherwise all is looking good and now 17 weeks.

LMR that is fantastic news, full steam ahead for you also. That is great I am so glad we are all experiencing something good out of something bad, and we can all give hope to others in the same circ_mstance.

Hi everybody...this site is so up lifting...It would be neat to see pictures of everybodys baby at the end of this...I am willing to stay on bedrest as long as it takes and my spirits are good now having written to you guys...My insurance company nurse is advising me to go to a level 4 Nicu to have this baby and to be carefully watched by a perinatologist, apparently they are more specialize for these kind of high risk pregnancy...So now i have to leave my favorite ob and be seen at University of Maryland...Any how...I cant wait to hold my toddler and have a planned b day party for him in feb..All he does now is call me boo boo and cry and run away from me, or try to hert me..I think he is sencing the baby or changes in me...Any how...Hope all is well with everybody and hope all has a good weekend

does it sound like I could have a subchorionic bleed? I am so upset and fustrated right now. I am a little over 8 weeks pregnant with my 11th baby but this is my 14th pregnancy. I never had a problem with any of my pregnicies before. At 8 weeks I had a small gush of watery brown blood I called my Dr right away and they told me if I had bleeding for 3 days to call back or if it got worse, the next two days I had some spotting and I would get a light flow only when I went to the bathroom of about a tablespoon of blood most of the time it was brown red till the 3rd day it turned red, I called the dr and they were gone when he called back I was told to call in the morning which I did and I was told he would call me back which he never did and of course it was a friday so here it is saturday and I am still bleeding but only sometimes when I go to the bathroom and its a bit lighter now but still goes from red to red brown in color. I have no cramps or clots and have put myself on bedrest ( tg the kids are helping out!!)I am trying to keep up hope that my little one is still with me but its hard :O( the thought of going to the hosp has crossed my mind but I dont know if I should go if I dont have an actual flow I may have had one drop on a pad mainly its when I go to the bathroom and not all the time. Is that enough to go to the hosp? Sorry this got so long and I am rambling at time..I am just scared right now with no answers.

hello lotsoftots...It sounds like its time to get a new doctor...if they arent calling you back and listening to your concerns, i wouldnt being going there anymore...I am a nurse and have worked wilth alot of docotors and once they now somebody enough they dont worry/ respond fast enough...Any kind of discharge or bleeding is abnormal, if it isnt white during pregnancy...A little spotting is ok exspecially for you had multiple pregnancy...Stay away from s_x for a bit, drink plenty of fluids. If you are already doing this and continued to have spoting and anykind of discharge, go to the ER...I went to the ER but they misdiagnosed me and luckly i had a great doctor.Plus they knew they couldnt get over on me...they tryed to make me sit out in the waiting room with all the crazy's while I thought I was loosing my baby and while I had a major Hemmorage...So some times the squeky wheel will get the oil first...Start will calling you oncall doctor and tell him the run around you have been getting and let him know that you are going to the er and you want something done and not just blood work...Hope that can help you for now...You are a strong women, who needs to be heard...Not frustrated...TTYL

Hey lotsoftots...Forgot to tell you...I had spotting early in my pregnancy and doctor says to drinks plenty of fluids and again no s_x...but take it easy with this one...every pregnancy is different

Sarah - that is great news it is great to get around as normal now hey, such a relief to not feel like an invalid now. People keep telling me though to take it easy, but it is hard when you feel so good! Becky - totally agree, we should all keep in touch and share pictures when these miracles are born - what treasures! And I am sorry about your child, hopefully things improve and you are able to host that birthday party! lotsoftots - Hope thing improve for you, yours seems so mild but you never can tell so you being concerned is something DR's should listen too to ease your mind. Stand up for yourself you have a right. Any type of bleeding is worrying no matter what! Thinking of you, take care. As the rest of us girls have done, rest rest rest!!!!

Hey all, Some good news, I had another u/s yesterday and I happy to say that the sub c is all cleared up and baby is doing well. At 15 w and 4 days baby is alredy sucking his or her thumb. I have also started to feel very subtle movement inside. My only hope is that everyone here has as positive results as me. Sounds like there are a few more positive stories since I was here last. So happy for all! Thanks for the support!

Hello I also had bleeding at 5 1/2 weeks (1/7/06) It started out brownish then an hour later turned red and I pa__sed a few clots. I called my Dr and they had me take a Progesterone Shot. I headed to the ER. There they did an ultrasound, checked blood levels and checked to see if my cervix was closed. all was good. They saw 2 sacs on the ultrasound, but they were unsure about one of the sacs. They but me on strict pelvic and bed rest. I stopped bleding that night. On 1/11/06 I went to see Ob. He did not do an exam and ultrasound tech was not there. So he but me on bedrest and told me to come back on Monday. On MOnday 1/16/06 I had an ultrasound they saw two heartbeats, TWINS! one hb was 143 one hb was 128. The confirmed the S/B it is 2cm long. The Nurse said it is not bad. She but me on strict bedrest. no s_x no travel etc. I have a u/s set for 1/24/06. I am just praying that all is still good and we still have two healthy babies

Carla - January 19

Hi Becky, I was never put on bedrest, only told to take it easy and no lifting, and since I haven't work since the accident taking it easy is all I do. It drives me crazy though cause I m used to working twelve hour days. I hope that you get the good news you so badly need to hear, cause it sure make life a lot less stressful.

becky - January 20

Hey everybody! Hope all is well...I went to the specialist today and baby is looking great on the u/s...He gained 3 oz in 2 weeks so he is 9oz isnt that funny he is a little peanut...I however didnt get any reasuring news...It looks like the sac is sperated from the placenta but the placenta is intact except for there is a small abruption on the egde..So here we go again...The doctor did say that I could get up out of bed only to go to bathroom and to living room and things...He says hes doesnt think it is going to make much of a difference but to not do anymore then that. So he said we can try to get to 28weeks instead of 26 weeks, but it is likely that the further along I get and the more the placenta stretches I could have an full abruption causing delivery of baby...So Im sitting with my fingers crossed and looking at my new beautiful pictures of the little bean and thinking about how well you ladies are doing...If anybody has much more knowledge about what I have said, it will be great to hear from ya...

Carla - January 22
