Ultrasound With Sac But No Baby

Went for my first ultrasound today and I am 7 weeks along tomorrow. She said there was a sac but no baby. It felt like it took forever for her to take the rest of the pictures and she did a lot of typing. After that my Doctor called back for me to come in for more blood work and that I may be earlier than I think. Is it possible to be earlier if I know my lmp and the day I was ovulating? Hoping for the best but worried that it is not a liable pregnancy...

I think I have in the same boat. I had IUI 7/1/15 then I had hcg tests 7/21, 24, 28, 8/1. 1-225

I have very slow rising HCG and top of that Dr only found small sac no yolk no baby.
My infertility dr did thrid sono 7/28,8,1/ then 8/10 today. He told me this is not good pregnancy and will have miscarriage soon. He wants me to schedule D&C. This will be my thrid miscarriage. Thank god I have a beautiful son who is 2 years old. I don't know I read many miracles happened to somebody but my case seems very sure. slow rising HCG, empty sac, and I start bleeding little bit. I am already 7 weeks 4 days according to my IUI. My dr will call me to schedule D&C tonight. I don't know how the sac couldn't grow at all for two weeks:-
