So at my 6 wk postpartum appt. I was put on birth control for the first time, used other methods prior to my first pregnancy. I am now half way through the third month of using birth control and I was warned I might have "break throughs" with light bleeding every once in awhile for the first three months and if it continues I need to switch to a different brand. The first month I experienced these break throughs once or twice where i would see a spot in my panties, second month I was completely break through free. Third month, which I'm about a week and a half into, I've been bleeding for the past three days, to the point where I'm wearing tampons and having to switch out. I'm still on the white pills, so I'm not supposed to be having my period right now. I'm SO confused about what this means?? And does this mean that my birth control is inneffective?! AH someone who knows better than me help me out!
