It's been 7 months since I had my baby, and the bleeding pretty much hasn't stopped the entire time. I haven't been able to pin down if and when I've even had any period(s). I have gone in to get checked twice for this early on, but they only tell me it's because of the depo shot, give it time etc. etc. but I only got one shot and it was in November. The most time I've gone with no bleeding is two days, and last week for three days it got so bad(overflowing pad, running down my legs)that I had to miss work. Went to ER as last resort because gyn couldn't get me in, they just checked my blood for anemia and told me to follow up w/gyno. Is/has anyone dealt with this? I feel fine otherwise, no pain/dizziness etc. Any insight will be very much appreciated!!!

I had the depo needle after the birth of my first daughter and I had continuous spotting ALL the time, I did end up taking another shot but I couldn't stand the weight gain, moodiness and constant bleeding. So I never went back for a third. That is probably what is causing your bleeding. I don't recommend the depo shot to anyone. I think it's horrible, but that is just my opinion.

Oh, and you might want to have your Gyn do an ultrasound to make sure there is no placenta left in your uterus from giving birth.

My experience with the shot was very similar. After the birth of my first baby I was on the shot and I bled/spotted the entire time which was for 9 months. It stopped as soon as I quit using it. The weight gain from the shot was also a big downside for me. Personally it wasn't worth it for me and wouldn't use it again.
