A little nervous this morning. Have to go and get my gallbladder out today. My kids are at my sil's today and hubby is at work. I didn't think that I would be this nervous but I guess I am. I know that things will be fine and way better then having those gallbladder attacks. I wish I had someone who could come and sit with me before I go in. well better go and get ready. Sorry needed to vent. (Tamara)

How did it go?

Well, not so good. It was to be a day surgery, however, I had some bleeding in my chest cavity, and it irritated my diaphram, so when they would lay me flat, I would be gasping for air. Kinda felt like someone had their knee on my chest. They put me on a morphine drip. I was in from thursday til sunday. They hadn't put a drainage tube which I have read about some doing. I was so sore I had a bed pan cause I couldn't get up very well, and they didn't start me on food til sunday at lunch. Not a very pleasent experiance. After I left I noticed a bed sore on my b___t, and I seem to have alot of blood in my urine (sorry TMI). I had an ultrasound today and have been on antibiotics for a few days. I do feel alot better then I did. I am starting to feel normal again, however if they could just get this thing checked out with my bladder. In the hospital I could fill that hat and not even know that I had to go. And although I can feel it better I still don't feel a full bladder that well. Seems funny considering that it was my gallbladder that they took out. Oh well, I am feeling better and should be looking at the positive right! Its hard some days hehe. Anyways thanks ladies for caring. Us women have to stick together. (Tamara)
