I have a Mirena, and my stings keep getting shorter and shorter, and was just wondering if this has happened to anyone, and it be fine? The strings first started out about an inch in length, then went to about half an incg, and now I can barely feel them. They are just barely sticking out of my cervix. Also, at first my husband couldn't notice the strings, but now he says it feels like it's stabbing him. Any input would help, I'm kind of freaking out. I got pregnant on the Mirena when I got one in 2005...I have 5 kids, and my baby is only 10 weeks old.
