I was so depressed when i got home from the hospital. I didn't think i could do it....i felt like my life was over, like I could never find a man with a baby, I felt so overwhelmed like nothing i did was right.....I felt like the walls were closing in on me. I decided to go to the doc. to see if there was any help for me. She gave me Lexapro and it has done wonders for me. Is anyone else on this?

No, but I took Zoloft when I had depression a couple of years ago and it was very helpful. I am glad you are feeling better.

Hey Stephanie not sure if you are still around but I just started lexapro. I felt the same way as you. I am 6 weeks pp. It has only been 2 days and I feel like I haven't felt in years. I am just worried about the s_xual side effects. Are you still on it? How are you doing?

Hey Jen....I have been on Lexapro since 4 weeks postpartum.....so it's been about 8 or 9 weeks. I feel like a new person. The effects are very subtle. I have had no problem in the s_xual area. I'm just as "horney" as I have always been! lol. I am on 10 mg's, but you can take 20 if that doesn't work for you. So far 10 is working for me. I plan on being on it for a while. Maybe a year or so. It's just done so much for me.
