Okay..THis may be a little TMI.. I am 6 weeks PP and my lochia had completely stopped and now it has started up again. I dont think it is my period because it hasn't been heavy at tall. I went to my PP exam at 4 weeks and i started the BC pill, can that have anything to do with me bleeding? IT seems weird to me because I have been on the pills for YEARS before I had children and i never have bled like this. Will this EVER go away?! Is this a period, from my BC pills, or just my stupid body?!?!

It sounds like this is your period starting up after you went back on the BC pill. This happened to me as well. I bled for 5 wks. after I had my son, then it stopped for a week. When I went in for my PP exam at 6 wks., and started taking the BC pill, and I started bleeding again. It will take a little time for your body to get back in the swing of things. Good luck!!

I bled up to 7-8 weeks after delivery and it was off and on. I was like you, wondering if it was ever going to stop! I would stop and not bleed for a day or two, even more, and I would think I was through, but then I would start up again. Don't be surprised if that happens! I'm not on the pill, so not sure if that could be the cause. Either way, your bleeding will stop!! The only time you should be concerned is if you soak a pad in an hours time, or if you are clotting really bad. Otherwise, don't worry about it! Like bumble8bee says, it will take time to get things back to normal!!

I had my son two months ago. I bled for about 3-4 weeks after having him. Then I didnt bleed until 2 weeks after I started taking the YAZ pill (about 2 weeks ago). I started bleeding lightly but when I took four sugar pills at the end of this month I started to have a heavier period. I had a clot about the size of a walnut. I don't know if thats normal or if I need to go see the doc...
