Measuring Larger Then Expected

I just went to my doctor and I'm measuring 26 weeks but I'm only 23 and a half weeks. Has anyone else measured larger then expected? If so did your due date change and did you delivery early? Two and half weeks is a big difference when it comes to deciding when to leave work. My doctor said he would have a better idea next month and if we need to adjust my due date he would do it then. But I just wanted to hear what other ladies had to say on this subject.

Hey Cheryl:)
I went for my first doctor's appointment this week, and I am only ten weeks, but he said that I seemed farther along then that too. He told me that we would have to wait and see during my 14 week checkup! Just wanted to let you know that Im in the same boat as you!:)

Yes, I have measured large for months now. She never has technically changed my due date, but she told me I would not make it to that date. I am only measuring about 2 weeks larger, and she said that is not uncommon. I am 35 weeks now.

Hello, I am 35 weeks right now and messuring 4 weeks bigger than I should be. I had an ultrasound @ 34 weeks and they said the baby is est. 7lbs2oz. Keep in mind right before (1-2 weeks) before we concieved I had a d&c done so there is no way I am futher along than what they say. They just told me I carry really big babies. My first was 9lbs2oz and this one will prob. be bigger (god help me) But you just might carry bigger than average babies and not be futher along than what you are. Good Luck!
