I gave birth to my daughter a week ago tomorrow and I am still very uncomfortable. I dont know how normal that is. I had an episiotomy and I tore too so thats probably why I'm so uncomfy.

It's normal as long as you're not in excruciating pain. It was uncomfortable for me to stand for long periods of time and my pelvis was sore for about a month after. You just gave birth and stretched your cervix like it has never been stretched before lol! Give yourself some time to heal, if it is really concerning you talk to your Dr. at your 6 week checkup.

They don't give you anything for pain afterwards?

They give extra strength tylenol because it won't affect b___stmilk. The pain is really not that bad, especially after the pain of pushing the baby out. You haven't had baby yet I'm guessing. I don't want to scare you! Labour is painful, plain and simple. And there is some pain afterwards, cramping as the uterus shrinks back down to size and when b___stmilk comes in. Also after v____al delivery there is pain in that area, but it's nothing you can't handle. I have had 3 kids but I never tore with any so I'm not sure how much more painful it is when you have st_tches. Don't worry the pain is nothing compared to labour and when you see your LO you won't even care. It's all worth it!
