I am 9 days postpartum, I had a fast labor and delivery with no tearing or st_tches, I still have some light bleeding but it is brownish in color and I feel fine and have been doing all of my regular daily activities since the day I left the hospital. I have been an avid excerciser for years, worked out 6 days a week 2 hours a day up until the day I had my son and I really want to get back into the swing of things.. is it too soon to start adding back some cardio and strength training? I used to do the elipitical which isn't really high impact, maybe starting out with 10 min and gradually building back up?

I would ask your doctor or a nurse for sure, but my feelings are if you had a natural birth and feel up to it, go ahead. I think with a section it's a different story though, you really do need time to heal.
