Sex Should We Have Waited

I had my baby girl on june 24th. It was a very easy labor and delivery but i did get an episiotomy. I'm almost 5 weeks pp and lastnight we tried to have s_x. It wasn't painful at all but he said he could feel the st_tches inside me still. We only went at it for about 30 seconds and today I have no real discomfort, but I'm worried that if he could still feel stiches he could have hurt me internally. Should I be worried? Has anyone had any serious problems with having s_x too soon?

i had my son on june 10th and we started again around 5 weeks PP.. I didnt rip, but i did have st_tches where my son had scratched me on the way out with his fingernails...(OUCH!)...My hubby said he could feel the st_tches too. I read in my prego book that it usually takes about 4 weeks for your body to heal from giving birth..If youre not bleeding or hurting in anyway, would say dont worry about it. But if you start to bleed, call your healthcare provider, and dont be ashamed to tell them you have allready started having s_x again. <3
