When Do I Ovulate After Birth

Hi ladies..Well, I've been a poster here, especially in the pregnancy loss section. However, i'm in a different situation now. I gave birth to my baby 7wks ago, she passed on that same day. Postpartum bleeding has not stopped yet. Dr prescribed me BC pills (Aviane) at my 3wk pp f/u. Also advised me to use backup (condoms) for the first month. I stopped using backup 2wks after i started the BC. I am 7wks pp, still bleeding, very lightly, and took a urine test showing negative. I guess my hcg levels are down to 0 now. Could I have ovulated around the time that I started having s_x again w/out backup? This past week, I've been experiencing frequent urination, dizzy spells, nausea (no vomiting), anxiety, slight cramping and twinges, erect and enlarged br___ts (sorry TMI), and an increased appet_te. Dr says I should wait another 2 to 3wks to test again to see if I am and to still continue my BC until I find out. I'm kinda worried though. I don't want the BC to affect my baby if I am in fact pregnant. Could I have ovulated and conceived around 4 or 5wks pp, even with the light bleeding? Please help. I would love to have another one, especially after my loss, but the dr says he doesn't want me getting pregnant yet. They still want to run tests to find out why i lost both my pregnancies. Any advice would help. Thanks.

First off, I am so so sorry for your loss. I almost cried when I read it. About your question I would not think that you are pregnant yet because of the bleeding. The symptoms you have been having could be from having the baby. Your uturus would be going back to normal which would cause the cramping, peeing and nausea. Also all the bleeding can cause diziness. The enlarged b___st can be from your milk coming in and the anxiety from your loss. I am not saying that you cant be pregnant and if you think so I would not use Birth control because it can cause a miscarriage. I would say using condoms or maybe pull out before your husband comes but still use a condom to be sure you dont get pregnant if the doctor doesnt want you to. One thought about losing the pregnancies, I am not an expert but is your husbands blood type opposite of yours(like one being O+ and one be 0-) It is called the rh factor-it caused me to have 2 miscarriages because it was not caught in time. The have to give you a shot at like 5 months and after the babys born if the babys blood type is opposite of yours. This is just a thought and again I am so sorry for your loss. If you have any other questions about this or just need to talk you can email me at danlovesemmy@aol.com.
