When I stopped b___stfeeding I took prescribed weight loss medication as before that I was the same as you and despite all my efforts had lost barely enything. On this medication, I lost 5.5kgs in the first two weeks (fluid!!), and now 9 weeks later have lost 11.5kgs. It is so great to finally lose that weight!

louise - wow. the same thing. i was so thin (and thought i was fat -- how SAD!!!). and now im stuck here. baby is 7 months old and i cant enjoy videos or taking pics of me and the baby cos i look so bad! I had pics taken in december for xmas and when they came back i was in shock and horrified at how fat i looked. not just fat, bloated up. to give you an idea - i was 36-24-34. now i am 38-34-43. unreal. i eat under 1200 calories too to help it along and the scale is still hating me lol.

I'm totally with you on the picture thing. We have tons of photos of the baby with my husband and only a few with me. That really bums me out, but the ones we have of me I look huge. It's totally shocking to see, because in some ways you can't see yourself clearly. Now the weather is getting warmer where we live and I'm not taking my clothes off. Not to mention I only have a few clothes that fit. I'm stuck between maternity clothes and my skinny clothes. I had to laugh when you said that you used to feel fat...me too! It is sad. I see photos of myself now and I would LOVE to look like that again. I actually felt better just for writing back to you yesterday and it inspired me to put the baby in his toy saucer and jump around to some music for 30 minutes:) We'll get it off. Take care.

Haha I am SO with you girls - I snap away at my husband and bub, but when I see pics of me I just want to cry (still!). I am really trying to lose more weight so that I am not so self-conscious. It's such hard work though.
