It's been 6 weeks today since my daughter was born. Before I had her I had problems with my feet swelling. More so on the left than the right. I didn't have blood pressure problems or anything. Well my left foot is still really swollen. I called the drs office about 3 weeks ago and the nurse said that this can happen and then they will go down but it's been another 3 weeks and still nothing has changed. I go back for my 6 week check up monday but wanted to see if anyone else has had this happen....sometimes its swollen so bad I can hardly bend my foot and it hurts. They went down right after I had her but the following day they were swollen again....and a week or two after I got home they went down also but only for a VERY short period. The right foot seems to be fairly back to normal but the left one is the issue. Just wondering if anyone else has had this happen. thanks.

I was very swollen in the last months of my pregnancy and the swelling didn't go down after my son was born. I think it took a month or so. Drink lots of water and keep your feet up as much as you can. I slept with a pillow under my feet.

I was more swollen after i had my son then when I was actually pregnant. Right after I had him, my feet blew up like balloons. Yes one went down and then the other took forever.... in the hospital they give you soo much fluid through the iv that it takes time.. If it is hot where you are that has a lot to do with it.. Hope it gets better. But yes it happened to me.
