Hcg Levels 5 5 Weeks Postpartum

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to at 5.5 weeks postpartum to still have enough of the pregnancy hormone in your system to give a positive result on a home pregnancy test? any imput will be great.... thanks

I think HCG can stay in your blood stream up to 2 months afterwards, but I don't know how high the level is and if it's enough to have a test come out positive, ask your Dr. at your 6 week check up and he might give you a blood test.

GRRRRR... my gyn appt was resheduled to to June 27th... I am dyeing here! does anyone know how long HCG can read positive after birth??!!

Can you get into a walk in clinic to get a test done? I know in Canada it is easy to do that but maybe not if you are in the US? Are you having any symptoms? How long after birth did you have s_x? Is it possible for you to be pregnant within 2 weeks after giving birth?
