I wouldn't run, walking on the treadmill would probably be okay.. you really NEED a full 6 weeks to heal.. birth is very traumatic on your body and you could do damage if you over do it.

Agreed. It is too early for you to do much now. My doc told me not even to walk on the treadmill. Take care of yourself. You have plenty of time to exercise later.

My doctor told me that if your b___stfeeding, you are loosing calories, so when you exorcise, you also loose them, and that will cause you body to loos too many calories which then causes you muscles to create a very bad chemical in your body which becomes poison to the baby.

Definitly not!!! Your body has to return to a normal state. I wanted to resume excercising after I got home because my pregnancy was so normal and healthy, no tearing or anything, but the doctor warned that the body is still healing internally although you dont feel anything. She also told me a story about a new mother you returned to excercising to early and was hemmorhaging unknowingly and died. Let your body heal and wait for an ook from the doctor.
