is it normal to bleed nonstop for 6 weeks? i go to my 6 wk check up tomorrow and im scared somrthing is going to be wrong or they are going to have to do a d & c.

Yes, that is perfectly normal. It's called lochia and can last up to 6 wks postpartum... thats how liong mine lasted. However they say that if you are bleeding bright red then that means you are doing too much and need to rest more.

Take it easy for a couple days and see if the bleeding slows down. It's very common to keep bleeding, I don't think you have anything to worry about, but of course you'll want to mention it! Congrats on the babe.
