Period While Breastfeeding

i am br___tfeeding exclusivly i dont supplmemnt at all. My baby is 4 months in two days and my period returned today, i am not sure if this is normal everyone in my family never got there period while br___tfeeding. Has this happen to anyone?

Sure! The lucky ones b___stfeed without getting a period, but it is totally possible. With my first kid, I got my period after 3 months (b___stfeeding exclusively), with my second and third it took about 5 months, and the rest of my kids I did not get my period until I stopped b___stfeeding.

i got my period 7 weeks pp, and just ended cycle #3 postpartum and i'm still exclusivly nursing my 4month old. just unlucky i guess...well at least it tells me i'm not preggo again...still not worth it tho cause i'd rather pee on a stick than bleed, oh well. oh and he's my 1st baby if that makes any difference. on the bright side i don't really have any cramps with my period now

Yes sagekelli, I also found that after my first baby, my periods were not painful anymore. Before kids they were awful!
