i had my son about 5.5 months ago and i experience baby blues, for approx. 3 weeks. now i am feeling extremely rundown. and tired. i have constant headaches and sometimes i feel dizzy. i don't know it could be the heat but its extremely frustrating. is this normal?? i would never dream of hurting my son, i take extreme precautions when it comes to him. i am so scared that something will happen to and i won't get to see him grow up. any advice would be grateful, thanks

Are you eating? Sleeping? Taking care of a new baby can cause you to feel run down. I noticed i'd only get to eat once a day if I were lucky. Now i'm back to work and because of that I am able to eat - when I was home with ds I had no time. Sleep is another matter. I haven't slept since mid way thru the pregnancy. I get headaches all the time and get dizzy when I don't eat. The heat certainly doesn't help.

Jody.. Slow down. Ask for help if someone is around... Being a mother is a full time and a part time job. It is hard some days... I know i say it. I ask for help but I don't get much. I feel the same as you. Some days I can barely move anymore. I also had ppd. I had it for a while, it went away.. as far as I can tell. But I do have my days.. Please even if you just need someone to talk to. I usually check this everyday. .. I am exhausted myself. Is your baby sleeping through the night? Always try to find a few mins for yourself.
