I have a 7 month old baby. I have severe stretch marks from pregnancy on my my stomach and hips. I had a consultation with a plastic surgeon and was told laser surgery may or may not work and a tummy tuck will only remove those from the lower stomach (loose skin that is cut) and there will be a scar. I used cocoa b___ter every day of my pregnancy and it did not work obviously.

I'm ready to have my child at anytime now (he's my first) I have minor stretch marks on my hips, and b___sts.I heard that after I give birth that I WILL get really bad stretch marks due to rapid weightloss.. is this true? I use cocoa b___ter lotion everynight, but I still seem to have minor stretchmarks. I'm just wondering if anyone could tell me. Thanks :)

Well Amanda you should try Cocoa B___ter formula for Stretch Marks it really works (it worked for me).

I read somewhere that you will rarely get more stretch marks in subsequent pregnancies than you get with your first one. Unless you gain a lot more weight, have twins, etc...

Nat - July 31

I got loads of stretch marks during my first pregnancy. I put on more weight than I needed to and did not use lotion often enough. I have read that if you control your weight gain and eat the good foods as well as use lotions ( I use cocoa b___ter) you will have a smaller chance of getting them.

only little faint ones work with laser, oils and creams dont work, it is the elastic in your skin that determins wether your going to get them, i have very dry skin, i got loads and loads, im not bothered as i got them for my son, i would never change that, other people miht think there awful but my partner thinks there great, and they dont bother me

My nutritionist recommended that I use MSM cream (msm is found naturally in the skins make up) which is made by a company called higher nature. I bought it online. It is fab. I have no new stretch marks and the previous ones I had from growing as a teenager have faded so you can hardly see them.

I've been using 100% Shea B___ter and Pure Virgin Cocoa B___ter which I got online from a free trade African website. It's great stuff and I love it..so far so good. It keeps my skin nice and moisturized.
