So the first day of my last period was December 26th, 2005. This is supposed to give me a due date of October 2nd.
However all of the sonograms say that the due date of the baby will be the 24th of September.
Can anyone explain this to me? It is a consistent difference, as well.

My doc said not to pay attention to the scan on the date, it was just an estimate. She goes by my last period (unless you weren't sure) My scan have always been at least a week off...I think that means my baby is big and healthy :) Anyway I think you should go with your period date!

My doc. says the opposite. He says the most accurate date is the scan date. The reason that it might be a week or so sooner with the u/s is because you might have ovulated earlier then you thought, therefore the baby was conceived a little earlier then expected. My doctor says that the u/s gives accuracy because it can measure the babe. Good Luck!
